this whole situation is an odd one.
now on one hand, if he has been dropped from the bench for a half-fit mama, then something is seriously wrong. he must be thinking "what the hell have i done wrong???"
however, he is being paid a RIDICULOUS sum of money. not only to play football, but also to act in a professional and responsible manner. and part of that is to not throw his toys out of the pram when he is dropped, because it is the managers choice at the end of the day.
i personally sympathise with dave this season, because his attitude has been top notch, and he has had the performances to boot, then got dropped as soon as TP had Beattie on his feet. however the way he has apparently reacted sounds incredibly unprofessional, especially if it has a detrimental effect on the squad as a whole.

Kitson does ask the REAL QUESTIONS like last season he said to Penis i hate playing this shit football and why play me as mama when that aint my game.If you ever question pulis he won't debate it he ignores you and hounds you out the club as yes men are his only backroom team made up of.

The full training bust up as transcribed by the New Vic Theatre
Kitson: Here Beatts. This training's shite isn't it. I mean look at Reidy trying to catch Ricardo there. Reminds me of him chasing after Maradona in '86. Beatts: Shut up David. Everyone here loves me and I don't want no trouble. That Big Mama lads back now so we've got to be extra careful you hear me. What with Tunny and Mama now after my place I've got some arse lickin to do myself so stay away. Kitson: Oh fook that Beatts.I'm bored. Oi Reidy you monkey headed, bbc documentary foul mouthed scouse speaking tosspot. I'm going for an early shower and if you and and capman don't like it you can kiss my orange haired danglebag. Oh and Beatts if you damage any more Britannia Stadium property like those Advertising boards, I'll eat your liver. Mama: Wasn't me boss. Pulis: I know Mama. I know

Why is everyone talking about this situation like they know what has actually happened? Talking about Kitson having a good attitude based on what? The most likely way this has panned out is that Pulis gave him a second chance after he sulked and disrupted his way out of the team last season... his good attitude lasted a couple of months before having a sulky relapse (on the training pitch/in the dressing room/his attitude with other players) maybe because his girlfriend has moved down south. Everybody is way too quick to defend the player when it is ridiculously likely that his heart isn't in it again and if my memory serves me correctly is fucking useless when he isn't 100% committed to the cause and it's bad for the rest of the lads to have a disruptive guy in the squad, he'll probably get loaned out again soon if all this is true.

So it's daft to do it but You will anyway! ;D Ha, I was just trying to be the voice of reason because this whole topic is making Kitson out to be the victim when last season we know that he didn't want to be here (don't we?)... I was just saying that it is likely it could be the same again. I wouldn't dream of talking about situations that I know nothing about like I know what has happened that would be silly.

Do you know why Kitson was dropped? I don't - but if it was for bad discipline - as is being suggested - then he has to be dropped So why is Fuller first choice every game?

Pulis handling of Kitson has been an absolute disgrace and we are seeing it all over again with Tuncay, if we are not careful no decent flair players will want to sign for us, word gets around very quickly in footballing circles.

As a football manager, Pulis should be doing what's best for the club and dropping Kitson for an unfit Mama on Saturday wasn't what was best for the club.
He's so fucking blind and stubborn at times I want to go and kick him in the bollocks. I love him for what he's done for us and where we are but all too often he's too stubborn for his own good. See Richard Cresswell last year.
I now cannot see any way back for Kitson and if the story about him and Reid is true then that's just wank.
I can't berate him too much as we're 9th in the league at present but he doesn't half bamboozle me with his selections. He must just alienate so many people.

second half today has turned me into a grade 1 phw, a gutless manager that has and never will have the balls to go on and kill game. Lest we forget the poor goalkeeping for at least one of their goals, an out of sorts Abdy Faye, Collins deciding he only need turn up for half of a game, Whitehead doing a very passable impression of the invisible man, and Fuller limping through the game from early doors. Once they cross the white line, they need to take just a tad of responsibility themselves. I would blame TP for his constant reliance on Whitehead - not sure what his instructions are, but I'm sure they aren't "see if you can go 90 minutes without being noticed, Dean" & Delap - who without his (now ineffective) thrown in is past his best.

So there we have it. After four pages of ill-informed conjecture Kitson is donning the red & white stripes this very evening. Priceless.
