For me, I think it was the Wolves game. I knew we'd give them a run for their money, but to stuff them 4-2 gave me a proper buzz, because Stoke just don't do results like that...until this season.
I was working that saturday, and I was checking the score every 5 mins on my phone. The last time I checked before full time, it was 2-1 to them, and my dad rang me at full time, he said do you know the score? I said well last time I looked we were losing, and he said yeah well they scored two, then after a moment of silence, said but we scored 4! ;D

This is a very good post. Not being the biggest Pulis believer he is now proving me wrong I'm very very pleased to say, I always said from day one though I don't like him, I always want him to succeed at our football club.
So to answer the question to the topic, it was Sheffield Utd away which I still think was our most solid performance of the season. That night I knew we would make the playoffs, however it changed at Wolves away, that day I realised we would now go on and win the league.
It is great to have this buzz back at our club and I'm so pleased we are aiming for over 20,000 today without any discounts. Just hope the buzz and extra fans stay with the club!
Come on Stoke!!!

When it was apparent that with financial backing Pulis was capable of bringing real talent to Stoke.
Been thinking that for about 3 years or so.

Not a league game in fact but the home draw with Newcastle. Don't know why it was that particular day and not one a match that took us us the table or kept us there, but that was my moment...

I agree with Stick it on Corts head Blackpool away had quality power passion and complete and utter control written all over it. I came away from there and honestly felt that we could well be strong contenders

For me it was the Southampton home game. After the match I was walking home with my lad. Just as we got to our house we both looked up at the sky. It was a clear night and all the stars were shining brightly. At that moment a shooting star sped across the night sky turning from a silvery grey to a orange streak as it burnt up in the atmosphere. Hairs on back of neck standing up and shivers going down the spine as we both said at the same time "It's a sign!" - WE ARE GOING UP.

The Blackpool away/WBA at home week. Not just the results and the manner of the performances, but the fact that in that same week we also signed Fuller on a long term contract and re-signed Diao. For the first time this season I started to believe we could do something.
The Fuller contract was the clincher. It's something Stoke NEVER seem to do, tie up our best players on long term contract extensions ages before their original contract has expired. AND without some kind of long drawn out saga beforehand too.
