Same ol conundrum eh FM?
Right about Nugent tho':
1. he could stay at his mum's if he came here
(more importantly)
2. Magilton's a rate twatter
who
3. manages a team in the arse end of no-where

Sinclair would be an excellent signing. If we did get him then we might well drop Sidibe from the starting eleven as we'd finally have the pace on the wing to give us an alternative to playing the style of play we have at present. Pairing Fuller with Cresswell or Gally or AN Other would finally be an option.

stokey where do you get your info from?? Reckon someone like sinclair would improve our team no end. being able to have someone run at defenders with pace other than fuller would give defenders in our league nightmares.

John..don't be silly! Change our style of play? Mama's the first name on the team sheet for TP Watched Sinclair on Saturday and he looked quality. Surely he would make it difficult for Cresswell and Gally to get a look in? If they want him to play for a playoff team then Charlton would be a better bet for Sinclair - and its closer

But never say never, I suppose. Re Charlton and Sinclair, I know he was linked there last week, but haven't they already got a really fast, tricky loanee left winger who is apparently now back to fitness - Lee Cook?

Can't see it happening, why would he be with Man U in Lyon last night if they are to farm him out?

Can't see it happening, why would he be with Man U in Lyon last night if they are to farm him out? I've seen stranger things happen. That said, it really doesn't make sense. Man Utd are short on strikers, with Tevez & Rooney only being their main ones. I don't even know why I'm trying to justify it though. Saha is out of our league - literally.

21/02/2008 - 4pm update: Pulis targets two players
Tony Pulis has revealed he wants two players to complete the jigsaw for Stoke's assault on promotion in the final third of the campaign.
He refused to disclose which areas of the pitch he was homing in on, but revealed that chairman Peter Coates was in agreement.
"We desperately need two players to give us that lift again.
"I need to make two areas more competitive to not only keep people on their toes, but hopefully to add to what we've got.
"We've got to get the right players in to improve us and do things the way we want to do things.
"I've spoken to Peter again yesterday and he's fine about that. There's 13 games to go and a lot of points to play for."
Pulis also welcomed today's unveiling of former Stoke favourite Adrian Heath as the chief coach of American Soccer League newcomers Austin Aztex.
Heath has agreed a two-and-a-half year contract in Texas and will become a key component in the twinning arrangement which could see players being exchanged between Austin and Stoke.
"I'm delighted for him because he's a football nut and a local lad with Stoke's best interests at heart," said Pulis.
"I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about when he's up and running over there to see what talent is around."

TP may well be including goalkeeper when he talks about two areas needing reinforcements.
The other is presumably going to be upfront or another nippy winger. I'm guessing Nugent, Sinclair and Fulop are credible targets.
