I thought the consultative meeting between the club and the FF was not until tonight. Does this mean that the club have finalised prices and are simply advising the forum of their decision. In which case why bother with a meeting - why not just email the prices to the FF. And why tell you, ERB - do you work for the club or has one of the employees been on a whistle blowing mission? I hope you've got your facts right - or the government may demand an apology - resulting in an enquiry costing £millions if they don't get it.

PP....do you honestly think the FF make a difference in things like ticket prices? Serious question, not having a go at them.

I listened to Tim Gallimore on Signal last week, and he talked with real passion about getting the missing thousands back with some bold decisions.
I think he'll try and make a real impact on pricing - he knows his way around the subject as well as anyone on the FF.
I don't think the FF could give him anything new, as powerful as their points may be.
I just hope there's a real bold streak in the new pricing plan.

Don't really want to start on Tim Gallimore ....
I'm sure the club is capable of making an intelligent price plan looking at the last 18 months and the attendances since promotion without the FFs input. Doesn't take them to point out that pricing needs a re plan.
I'm sure by now there is as the above poster who knows said, a blueprint on the table for next season.

JR, having been consulted by South West Stokies myself this year and having seen what I submitted, what SWS submitted and what the other sections (but not individuals) on the FF submitted - I can't really say until I see the prices.
There certainly were some imaginative suggestions - if some or all of those find their way into the pricing structure then I would say the FF has achieved some good.
Time will tell.

mmm.....fair enough.
Personally like I said, the club will obviously be aware of gates over the 1 1/2 seasons since promotion and I'm sure they'll do something to reflect this. I don't think they need this FF to point out the obvious.

To be honest, JR - what is obvious now was obvious last year as well. As I said, some of the ideas put forward by FF members were imaginative eg - a student "term time" season ticket for students in North Staffs who live away when not at college and a mini season ticket (for 6, 10 or 15 games) for exiles and people who work some weekends. There were also good ideas about children's tickets.
Time will tell if any of these ideas get put into practice - at least we won't have long to wait.

ERB - you little tease! You know how to get us hooked. Does it apply to very mature students - will it be worth me enrolling when I retire in a few months? ;D

To be honest the season ticket prices are so amazing that you won't need a student discount! They will be running a trial at a future home game. The cost of tickets will be similar to the cost of next season's prices (equivalent season ticket price).
