The ticket queue was that long at 10:30 yesterday morning, which can only be a good thing. Lynsey G, however, is not a good thing. Anyway, let's just hope Stoke don't have another of their 'big crowd games' like Liverpool and Southend and instead have a game like we did against WBA or Brighton with a big crowd in.

Surely last time we had a big crowd v Southend was at the Vic and we won or am I forgetting a game???
cup games aside we do pretty well in front of big crowds

Southend last season, 5er in, 23,000+, 1-1. played shite, Eastwood equalised at the end. Actually wasn't that the middle of Feb

Played them away first game as well- think the only time we lost in front of a decent crowd of late was Sheff Wednesday last season

Yeah I think the 'we play shit in front of big crowds' comes from when we in Division 2 and the players we had would shit themselves playing infront of a big hostile crowd as they had never experienced it. Players like JOC, Clarke, Cooke, Thorne, Cutler, Iwelumo and a lot of the Icelandic lads. The Icelandic lads may have played in front of big crowds in internationals but I doubt they won many. The players we have now have mostly played Premiership football and/or played in frotn of 20,000 reguarly
