i wonder if zola will be sacked would be intresting Interesting that the odds on Zola leaving WHam have been cut (as have Moyes). Like i said WHU are a great bet for the drop, can still get 22-1. Chances of administration are high. Defo worth a cheeky tenner! None of the bookies have factored this in yet. But I think they will in the coming days and they will shorten.

sorry but thats the biggest pile of shit ever!! we havent even published last years accounts so how do you know all this?? biggest pile of shit ever is it!!! fuckwit! the company/consortuim that brought west ham or at least the major part of it were the creditors of the previous administration. They brought the club at the the last minute to stave off administaration thus loosing millions on their investment. This was with a view to stabilising the club thus protecting their investment with a view to selling it off asap, to give them the best chance of maximising their return. However, no one is looking like buying them and the company/consortium that brought west ham are in dire finacial shit to and may fold themselves. Thus putting WHU in administration or serious trouble at least! I would like to say that you are a prick and know fuck all, as you dont need them to publish their accounts to know any of this. settle down flower. we are owned and run by a holding company - not straumer. if straumer go under we will be sold but wont go into admin as we are a GOING CONCERN. we are not in danger of going into admin because we meet our loan repayments. Hope this helps.

oh - and the accounts would help as they would show the level of debt and the repayments on any outstanding loans.

You'll notice in my response I said the consotium (holding company - CB holdings) however Straumur is the major player in this. They have put together clever safe gaurds to prevent them going into admin. WHU are good at this! However, the facts are that the finacial backers behind WHU are in a whole world of shit and again as i said this could lead to admin, which it could, or serious trouble. worth a bet on the drop for me!!!

you've just said we have a clever safeguard to prevent us going into admin - so how are we gonna go into admin?? you've basically answered your post for me. yes straumer are in trouble but they dont own us directly. the club meets all its loan repayments and pays its players ontime without a hitch. therefore we are under no threat. no investment but not admin either. we are in a holding pattern for a year.

Didn't Southampton get done even though it was the Holding Company that went into Administration?
To be honest its just a clever way of trying to avoid points deductions when you haven't got the finances to back up what your doing. Its wrong and a points deduction would be justified on the grounds its the owners of the club, holding company or not. Its just a layering exercise to avoid claim

You have got to sell your best players to balance the books, your manager may be looking for an out. You have failed to make any of the significant signinings you wanted so far. If you want to get technical - money wise you are fucked. There is no incentive for CB holdings to invest other than to make you look better in the shop window for other take overs. You are in limbo, however, if not sorted soon thing will take their toll on the pitch. Thats why i am having a tenner on you to go down

I am not saying for one min you are certs to go down, but at 22-1 i will have a speculative slice. The main reason i think that if for one reason you cant deny, which is which ever way you slice or dice it your in finacial shit. worth a punt in my book, especially after my long shot on newcastle last year...

FTR I am NOT ITK, but I am just passing on something I heard today. I went to lunch with a WHU fan who's daughter has very strong connections with WHU (I'm not prepared to say what or how as it will give her away.) She claims that she definitely heard a senior WHU management figure confirming to another that "Ashton is finished. His career is over, he will never play again." Again this could be total B/s but I thought I'd post it just in case - he does seem to be missing for quite a while and I'm wondering if anyone has seen him training recently?

A real shame for the lad, he was a top top striker when fit and would of been an immense signing for us if it wasn't for the injury as it WAS a done deal but he just couldn't overcome that injury in the end.
Also says he is considering whether or not to sue Shaun Wright-Phillips for the tackle and also Chelsea who were his employers at the time as he claims it's the tackle that "Ended his career".
Could get messy that if he does.

Huge loss & without a shadow of doubt you have got to feel sorry for DA, not fulfilling his potential (which i believe was to be England's regular #9).
Wonder too if this was always going to be the outcome (as strongly speculated) in the summer & in which case (& providing there was any truth in the rumour that he was coming here), what on earth was he doing even talking to us or other clubs?
Seems we were dreaming of getting the player that he could have been and not the reality of one struggling so badly with an injury and although we were perhaps up for "a roll of the dice" or whatever was bandied about at the time, hindsight tells us we were right to be cautious.
This one is water under the bridge now though.
All the best DA - you could have been a Stoke legend for sure.

the FA have settled with Ashton our of court - west ham are now going after the FA for compo. problem is that he came back after the first op so the FA are saying he recovered.
typical.
such a shame because he was a fantastic talent. have a look at the youtube vids if you get a chance. the goal in the cup at city will always stay with me.
