Enjoying the demo, although it does feel abit rushed i'm sure it'll be smoother when the actual game is released. It's definatly harder to score, opposition defenders are more intellegent when it comes to distribution also manage to stick in last ditch tackles just as your about to shoot. Also feels like you need to rely on buildup play more rather then being able to give the killer pass like 09. Looking good over all can't fucking wait for it come out.

FIFA 2010 is the next installment in the association football game in the FIFA series developed by EA Sports. It was announced on April 24, 2009. It will include exciting new features such as 'create a club mode' - Where the player gets to create a whole club from scratch, including the stadium, the kits and the badge. They will also choose their own staff (which, for the first time in FIFA, will be real world staff members) and players, whilst dealing with the sponsorships and financial side of running the club. It is also a rumour that FIFA 10 will contain a vaster, more in-depth manager mode season.
Producer David Rutter confirmed FIFA 10 will contain all of the Premier League stadiums.

I've played it now and it's not that different to 09 but then again, how could you vastly improve 09?

The ball and gameplay seems a bit lighter and also seems a bit more hectic which can only be a good thing. I've managed to score a couple of long range shots so Rhodesy it's clear you're doing something wrong here fella

All in all.. it's going to take a massive reply from PES to come close to this..

So then. This is where I'm at.

I'm quite / very disappointed with the demo as a whole and just hope it doesn’t represent the final package of the game.

I thought the visuals were poor, they are a step back from 09, the frame rate at times is unforgivable, especially when the players are coming out and in training (be a pro view). The stadium looks as though its planted onto of the grass, rather than the feel that you’re playing inside a proper football ground.

I was talking to my mate and he said if you’ve got enough momentum going on a sprint, lean back off a bit and barge straight past them when you bring the stick in towards the opposition. For me it didn’t work.

I don’t personally think the 360 dribbling is well implemented, I still have the same trouble getting past defenders as in 09, but lo and behold, opposition can snatch it straight from my feet. Without any trouble and fuck off straight down the pitch into my half.
The keeper is still as useless as Carson on a bad day and by the time you’re given the option to control him, the balls already in the net.

Maybe I’m not as good as I thought and need some proper training on it, time will tell.

The pre match animations are all too alike with 09. Players walk out, ref checks netting and waves back. I only hope the full article has lots of different animations, just to keep going through the seasons as fresh as possible and less of a chore.

Lastly for the moaning I thought the audio was shit. I play it through 5.1 surround sound and the commentary sounds wank, like Andy Grey’s speaking through a mobile, sounds tinny. Not only is the sound quality poor, both the commentary and crowd reactions are far too delayed to keep in time with what’s going on.

Ok. What I did like is the defenders reactions to incoming shots, short and long range, it’s like watching our Ryan, clear it out the area no bother. Whether it’s a flick of the back or the side of the boot it’s good to see they have more initiative and options.

The ball feels like it’s a proper football. Its good just booting it and seeing it land unpredictably. Long shots are nice that they don’t just float like and rpg (I haven’t yet scored from though - only one I scored on 09 was from Super Dave).

Overall I’m quite concerned that this is the polished final version and if that’s the case I might wait until its 20 quid second hand or look for a hopeful 25 quid pre-order.

3rd party games are a mess on PS3. 2 years that console's been out and they STILL can't get HD games to run on it properly.

The analogue sticks on the controller are shit too, they're too loose.
