I recall the whole Vic singing "You'll never walk alone" after we beat Man United on Boxing Day.

Start it off in The Boothen Concourse pre-match... Start it off in the Stands when we kick-off... As s-l-o-w as possible...and as loud as possible Keep it going for as long as possible... When it starts fading...stand up and keep it going... Delilahs only after we score... Abdoulaye My Lord throughout the game... 'Going Down' towards the end at Shearer... One final rendition of 'Oh When The Reds' at the end.. Let's show the whole world what we can do and that WE ARE STOKEAgree? I wanna I wanna I wanna....I can not fucking wait.....GOARRNNNNNNNNNNNN STOKE

our song is well be with you!!! how about we start singing that properly with a nice loud city when it comes around?? It'd be nice, wouldn't it? If only the few who do sing it would cut out the clapping in the wrong place. Bury me under the Boothen?

Who cares whose song it is? It sounds absolutely brillaint when we sing it... Someone is obviously missing the point ??? Absolutely! Oh and we used to sing 'Walk On' with the clap in it, as early as the mid seventies.

Bury me under the Boothen would sound awesome with all of us singing it.
As far back as I can remember its always been "oh when the reds" when we used to get a corner at the Vic there was always the the airhorn blast with clapping and City, closley followed by "come on you Reds"

Well, sitting in the john smiths lower, im condemned to sitting down with my mouth being shoved up my arse as not to disturb the 'fans' around me, holding the love i have for stoke city back and stopping me from chanting. i block there view of the pitch when i stand up, u stand up then you half hearted bastards, what bollocks is this!
And as for the people that believe that delilah is the only true stoke song and therefore the only one we can sing what do you suggest, surely as long as its loud and mildly relevant it creates a good atmosphere. not sure about you'll never walk alone mind you! haha

Did you not FEEL the embarrassment when we sang a Liverpool song when we played Liverpool. it's a Southampton song... Southampton being the Saints, singing "oh when the saints go marching in" and everyone else adapated it. I completely agree with you. We should adapt it to suit US and not use another teams nickname. I also think it sounds great. Right up until we sing Liverpool's nickname.

Sheff United were singing 'oh when the reds' yesterday at Reading and they play in red and white.
It's just a song Stafford don't get so upset.

I don't understand this Reds thing. We are not the Reds. Liverpool and ManUre are the Reds and they are two of our closest rivals.
Time to replace the word Reds with something more suitable (like Spurs fans do) or retire this song with immediate effect.
Whatever next, We're for ever Blowing Bubbles?
