Basically i have a xbox & a PC in the same room, the pc is on internet thru wireless but the xbox isnt, i dont want to buy a wireless adapter for xbox as they are meant to be wank and expensive, so i was wondering if i could connect the xbox to the computer VIA ethernet cable & get the internet for live off the computer Cheers guys

Works a treat and saves £60! ;D

Cheers guys, the PC is on vista, i will try asoon as i get me xbox again will try youtube aswell It works with Vista, that's what is on my laptop. All you do is allow internet connection sharing in network properties (or similar, through Control Panel) and plug the ethernet cable that came with Xbox into your PC/Laptop ethernet port. I can't remember if you need to the restart both, but it will work sound. ;D

Yeah ICS. Easy to set up. Note: When on your Xbox set IP address and the others to automatic not manual. This is what made it work for me And congratz on buying the better games console
