i just creamed my pants lew,
when the brought out 08, konami said they were "working on a 2 year project"
this is obviously what they were working towards, its ambitious, but i think they can pull it off.
either way, credit to fifa, if it wasent for the major development over the last few years then pro evo wouldent have pulled its finger out.
the winners will be us, the players, because while theres 2 major fooball games being made, they will jush push each other futher

Hope you're right Ben but can't see it
Have always been a Pro Evo man but made the switch this year due to disappointment and have loved FIFA this year, well Online Clubs anyway, particularly when we have a community like the Oatcake which has kept Oatcake Rovers together (I think we have now passed 2500 games could be a lot more) Some say we have played more games than any other club but we're struggling to prove it.
I hope Pro Evo pulls it's socks up as it always felt a bit more fluid to me but I just can't see them producing anything that will hold the attention like Online clubs has

i played fifa for 2 weeks before pro evo came out, played alot of the 10v10 games, and have to say thats the only thing during pro evo i have thought
"id quite like a game of that right now"
they have that spot on, but as far as gameplay is concerned, i would always chose pro evo over fifa, just prefer it.

Its abit of a "fingers up" to the customers though if 2009 was just something to keep them on ice untill 2010 comes out. I like the ideas they've put forward and look forward to playing it if they pull it off.
However I still cant look past the lack of rights re. team/ player names etc.
Still good news, as you say the determination that pes and fifa will get from eachother will leave us with some spectacular footie gaming.

They were saying since pro evo 6 they still hadn't adjusted to the next gen version and they would get better when infact they got worse, if they weren't ready they shouldnt have released the rubbish they did in the first place and just waited until they got it right, Won't hold my breath with this release either.
