from where i was sat- row 13- block 24- it looked like he`d been tripped in the 2nd half, and i could`nt see why he`d take a dive as he had options to shoot or pass. i recorded sky football 1st last nite but have`nt watched it yet so can`t be sure but if anyone got a good view can you clear it up for me.

It did look like a dive to me I must admit. But then again, why would he dive if he could've shot or passed it?

It must have been for a dive that he got booked but I couldn't tell cos it was down the Stoke end

fuck knows but it looked a dodgy ref decision to me just like when the stupid twat got in the way of a stoke clearance then give bolton the freekick in front of the boothen.

I'm not sure it was a dive as such. I think he "over-elaborated" under minimal contact. A bit like Ric vs Dull.

I remember the play went on for about 20 seconds and then he bought it back for that and I couldn't understand why. But I can't remember Lawrence getting booked for it.

Dont know. Should have shot earlier anyway.

I think you might be thinking of a separate incident. At one point he brought play back for an earlier foul on a Bolton player. When Liam went down in their area, he was booked immediately.

Ref was awful. Was making up the rules as he went along. Think Lenny was booked more for complaining about not getting a penalty than for the 'dive'.

He dived. He kicked the ball too hard, he'd lost it, he wasn't going to score and he chucked himself to the floor. Rightly booked IMO. I thought the ref was excellent last night.

He definately dived. If an opposing player did that there would be hell up on here, so the amount of people who seem to have "done a Wenger" is suprising.
Disgraceful in my opinion. I know everyone else has players who do it, but its not what I expect from Stoke.

i don`t really like cheating but lets face who the fuck ever moaned when we scored from a dodgy penalty especially after the amount that go against us.

I couldn't go last night but I heard it was a stupid dive because he had options around him or take a shot .

Hate to say it fellas but it was DEFINATELY a dive.
Sat in the South stand and got a great view. Liam took too long to get his shot off and dived. Myself and 2 lads said straight away, it was a dive and Liam did not protest when he was booked.
Hate to admit it but it's true, sorry.

I was in the boothen and couldn't tell either way what does intrest me though is that i have never seen a ref stop the play after a dive and the book the player (as he did last night) they normally play on until its a dead ball then book the player or am i missing something?

He was diving all over the sodding place against Pompey ;D Here was me thinking that Hreidarsson, Basinas and any other fucker that fouled that game were lucky to a) not get booked and b) stay on the pitch because of constant fouling.
