Was just staying the same thing tonight to my good lady wife. For a defender he's got the touch of a centre midfielder. His ability to place a pass and turn defence into attack is just unbelievable. His confidence on the ball and his ability to make opposing strikers look amateurish is amazing. His got my vote for player of the season hands down. We need to stay up and im sure we will, to make sure he's still playing in a Stoke shirt next season.

i forgot to mention that i went training yesterday afternoon, and Pulis was shouting to Abdy that he was to mark Davis as 'Davis thinks he is the hardest man in the whole fucking world' me and my 2 mates were in stitches

he is superb. A fantastic partner for shawcross, who is also playing extremly well.
It was great to see him run up the pitch to celebrate and congratulate beats for his goal.

From what I saw it was a difference of opinion, Faye thought Sorro should of come out for the ball and Sorro thought Faye should of got rid. At the beginning of the second half a cross came into the box and Sorro came and collected Faye looked at Sorro and applauded. Looked quite sarcastic, but could of just been "Yess, that's what you need to do". That was my opinion anyway.

FYI When Faye was bought by bolton his original position was a defensive midfielder, it was allerdyce that moved him to defence to sure up bolton. if ever stoke want to play a super attacking team. move Faye to defensive mifield he will be in his element.

I'd love to have the luxory to play Abdoulaye in the midfield, it would certainly free up the other central midfielder. But then he wouldn't be in defence. We definitely could do with another couple of Abdoulayes. ;D

To play Abdy in centre midfield (which we have just done the once) we really need a left back to take Higgy's place so Higgy can partner Ryan. I'm sure a dedicated left back is in TP's plans for next season so we might see Abdy given a run in front of the back 4.

He still battered them with one leg for the last 15 minutes!!!! He is the finest and toughest defender I have ever seen at Stoke (been going since 88). Also Ryan got a knock too but soldiered on so credit to him too. A fine partnership at the back that only looked wobbly when Ibrahimo '50p head' Sonko came on

not only is he a legend in the making, but he is able to listen to his fellow players, for instance near the end when he was struggling, ryan pushed him out to the right to help him through the last part of the game, and he willingly did it. i thought that was inspired from ryan, and fair play to abdy he did not arhue with the suggestion.

As much as I rate Ryan I'm afraid he can't be credited with that decision
Pulis was screaming at Faye to go to right back.
Ryan was just doing as he was told!
