Righty then, now we have ANOTHER weekend off due to Pulis's inadequacy to beat an average league 1 team, i think it's time to put a bit of focus on the great man.
We need to understand that we will NEVER progress further than the position we are in now and that also it's looking extremely likely we are going to get relegated. The time to act is NOW. We still have time to appoint a manage in the mould of Curbishley - Wow what an appointment that would be! Dream on though, we are stuck with this dinosaur of a manager with these shocking negative tactics. I've never known a team all in my life start a match with no intention of trying to win it. It's a disgrace and quite frankly i'm fed up of it.
Curbishley in - Pulis OUT!
Potters til i die!

Who cares we got knocked out? If it gives us extra time to rest, while other teams are playing and getting extra injuries and suspensions then it helps our chances of survival!
And how is it increasingly likely that we will get relegated? We were the favourites to go down at the start of the season and we are still the favourites to go down

Curbishley, good manager though he is, is no stranger to negative tactics and he himself was relegated in his first season in the Premier League. He was given time and helped establish Charlton as a Premier League club. So behave.

I never thought he'd progress us this far, so I think it would be silly to suggest he can't take us further, we're still in with a good shout of survival imo, we're currently sitting outside the relegation zone and well within touching distance of mid table, if we string a few homes wins together then we're back in business. But I agree on his away tactics/team selections, he needs to stop being a dick and try some new things (4-5-1 with 5 midfielders), as well as refraining from playing players out of position or players who are clearly adding little more than graft to the team in key attacking areas.

I smell Vale fan, but if you are a genuine stoke supporter I bet you were saying "we will NEVER progress further than we are now" just before Pulis won us promotion to the premier league for the first time eh?

The time to talk about Pulis is at the end of the season, if we go down is he the right man to bring us straight back up. If we stay up is he the right man to help us push on. Overall I think he has done a tremendous job and PC has been very astute about when to make funds available. If I have 1 frustration its the way we continue to play away and feel a more adventurous approach against many of the teams would have yeilded more points but I suppose this is with hindsight.
I think if we do go down then it's not Pulis but some of the 1/2 witted players who have gotten themselves sent off in games we have gone on to lose who should shoulder the blame.

Curbishley!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You must be mad!! Why? Decent manager. Did well at Charlton, and was doing well at WH. Left them due to his refusal to allow the board to interfere in team matters. Don't want Pulis sacked, but if you think he is doing a good job, I fail to see how you can infer that Curbishley is not a decent prospect for any team.

stokelad84...you don't care we got knocked out and you call yourself a stoke supporter?
Also you say if it helps us rest to help avoid injurys etc and helps us to stay up well what about the break we had then when thay went to Dubai in preparation for the Spurs Debacle where we were 3 down after 24 mins??? That does'nt hold up either.
Get a grip lad ffs.

Yeah, fair do's Pottermusfoot, a bad result I'd hate to think that there were 3 teams below us in the table at the end of the season as there is now. What did you expect from a first season? Champions league or UEFA cup?
I think we're making a decent fist of it; at best it was always going to go down to the wire; at worst we could have done a Derby.
