I'm surprised Allardyce wasted his breath, unless he suspected Pulis was on some mind-bending substance at the time of the alleged enquiry.

not surprised that sam enquired about him, also not surprised we rejected his advances. if we sold abdy, we'd be signing our own death warrant

It's not so much they want to sign him, of course they would, but if you have a look at who wants him, it's all the teams around us.
Just Big fat ass Sam and others trying to unsettle the centre of our defence with mind games. They know how solid we are and they think by putting a story in the paper his mind will not by fully on us.
How wrong you are fat Sam!

Faye cant be sold this season anyway, as he has already played for 2 clubs. Nonsense story like the Lawrence one. Papers have feck all to write about.

Is Big Sam starting to follow in the footsteps of his protege, the Tango Man at Hull, by basically trying to bid for every player Stoke want and at the same time, bid for a key member of Stoke's team.
Word of advice Big Sam, you crook, FUCK OFF.

Not totally sure but i think you may find as he has been registered with 2 clubs he cant move. Didnt Defoe have to get special dispensation to do the same thing and this only went through as he was going back to tottenham. If not then Allardyce can feck himself anyway.

It doesn't matter if we refuse or not, it's still destablising for the player and team.

The rules are, he can only be owned by 3 clubs in a 12 month period, but play for only 2 of them in competitive fixtures, the period runs 1st july one year to june 30th the next .

It doesn't matter if we refuse or not, it's still destablising for the player and team. I think it would take a wrecking ball to de-stabilise Abdy ;D He seems really happy here and seems to have great respect for Pulis so i'm not worried really.

abd faye was captain on saturday, he's goin nowhere, he's idolised at stoke and more than likely is first name on the team sheet.
also can't see shawcross wanting a move unless we go down, he too is first choice CB, he must be happy at stoke playing reguarly in the first team.

The only surprise about the Faye link is that it's taken a month for it to happen!
I did fear Sunderland would come knocking with their defensive crisis but I'm sure Ryan would prefer to stay here for the moment.
