Jesus i am depressed now. One thing that i used to be able to say with absolute certainty is that our away supporting was grade A top stuff. I felt that yesterday was totally symptomatic of what is happening to the 'big 4'. There was a feeling, from the fans, that it was all a bit of a nothingness, just a game that got in the way of the real business. It drives me mad and i want to get in a time machine and go back 20 years or further. Talking of years gone by, Souness would have loved playing against you lot - that would have been fun to watch!

If it makes you feel any better, arsenal were whisper quiet when we went there in the cup a few years back! I expect the same when we go for the last game of the season. I think the big clubs coming here almost can't be arsed to raise the effort against little old stoke - the result is just a formality. We are probably were the same against lower league clubs in the cup.

Didn't even get a 'you'll never walk alone' out of em!
We just drowned them out on the few occasions when they started singing
