A total and absolute disgrace!
These incidents happen far too often for it to be sheer coincidence, the referring bias towards the Premiership Clubs is becoming a farce!
Also the governing bodies arrogant stance in defence of such cretins is beyond belief!
OK, Scarborough may have missed the penalty, but equally they may have scored, forced a replay, and secured some more money to keep the Club viable, and they would have achieved it on merit.
Dickheads like Knight should have thier license taken away, they are trying to be 'The Main Feature' and ruining the game in the process!

Well put your vote where your money is then, someone has set up a poll to find out who the worst referee is ;D

I tell you what else drives me mad Tel, this is the same Barry Knight who booked Geoff Horsfield for diving in the WBA v Walsall game the other week when he was blatantly fouled. The same thing happens today when Clint Marcelle was scythed down by John Terry on the edge of the box in a tackle no too dissimilar to Horsfields and again he doesn't give a free-kick! How many times can referees be allowed to make the same mistakes before someone in the mighty FA towers realises how crap they are?!

I was just preparing to post the same about Barry Knight´s reffereing in the Scarborough- Chelsea game. That man is a disgrace as a referee. He denied Scarborough a penalty and also a freekick just outside the box when John Terry fouled an opponent.

If he had of given the free kick on the edge of the area he probably would have to give Terry a second booking as it was almost an identical challenge to the one that he got booked for. This may have led to "might premiership" Chelsea drawing (or even losing) and "scummy little confference" side Scarborough getting through. Which would of been an outrage in the F.A.'s eyes

Another reason to reinforce my point that ALL referees in this country cannot do their job properly.
It's becoming a joke isn't it, simply and utterly ludicrous. They have a stressful job but who's job isn't stressful? Exactly.
Rex, you just cannot stick up for them anymore. (Except Mr. Collina, a contender for the next SCFC Manager surely! ;D)

That decision is one of the worst ive ever seen, Gallas has his hands raised and the ball hit it, penalty simple as that.
I wonder if it would be given had it been the other way about?

I agree should have been a penalty, having said that i wish to add that i thought Frank Lampard is looking like the complete player, must be an automatic choice for England.

Only one word can adequately describe Barry Knight.
The man is a cheat, pure and simple and the day football is rid of him will be a mighty fine day.

Yeah, Frank Lampard is a class act, but who does he replace in midfield for England??
Gerrard was awesome on Saturday and Scholes is a great player. Cant put "Lamps" on the left, just a waste of time
Barry Knight was toss, we all know that, but i thought Graham Poll who referred the Liverpool vs newcastle game had a very good game.
Also thing Paul Durkin is a very good referee
The worst two by far are Rob Styles and Barry Knight, im not just saying that cus of what both these referees have done to Stoke in the past, but if you listen to 6-0-6 on Radio 5 there names come up week in week out about there awful decisons.
Something needs to be done. People can accept the odd error, but to keep doing it every week is a piss take
SORT IT OUT

As much as i feel for scarborough, i was quite relieved that he didn't give the Penalty, as i have terry, bridge, and lampard in my dream team, and the FA cup counts!! But still would have been nice in some ways to see a replay forced, still it should have been anyway, terrible miss by that centre half!!
