Yes, I'm gonna put a bit of a downer on the euphoric mood that has spread across this board Firstly, we have done brilliantly since that win at West Ham and have witnessed all the games first hand. We all knew we had a better team than the league position at the beginning of December and full credit to the boys for the winning streak we are currently on. I am VERY proud to be a Stokie at the moment. However, lets not lose sight of the teams we have actually beaten... West Ham Reading Watford Burnley Derby Wimbledon The last four are poor sides that a mid-table team would expect to beat. This does not mean that we have now become a brilliant, promotion chasing side. Our next fixtures - Walsall (H) (without 5? first teamers) Millwall (A) Palace (A) Wigan (H) Crewe (A) Ipswich (H) Watford (H) Reading (A) Sunderland (A) WBA (H) Norwich (A) Now these are our next 11 fixtures, these will undoubtedly be far tougher. For once; Stoke are beating the teams the teams we should be beating. However, when we lose the odd game, which is inevitable. The usual posts of despair will start to appear again, as we slip down to abouit 15/16 before finishing around 13th. This has always been a season of consolidation and we are doing very well at the moment. I am just concerned that due to the way the fixtures have fallen, we have a false sense of how good we really are. I don't want the fact we will probably dip abit from where we are now to take away from a season that has been/will be of great importance, developmet and achievement. As Triffic Tone has said all along, this will be a season of triffic highs and low lows. Enjoy the ride. ST

Lets be realistic any team in this league is capable of beating another ;D.
Bradford recently won at Norwich ;D and Derby drew at West Brom when Derby were leading until near the end.
There is still along way to go and lets enjoy it while we can.
I would rather be optimistic ;Dthan been a pessimist ???.
Time to enjoy ;D rather than moan.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I think that becasue we beat Reading and West Ham in quick succesion it menas we are good enough to beat anyone and that it wasn't just luck in those games.
