Cheers Rex - gald you did not take it personal What really cheeses me off is the lack of consistency . Here we have a player (Makie) who causes the trouble by petulantly kicking the ball into GTs back. Either punish him as well or just accept that its an emotional game and players will get involved in this type of thing. Maybe the FA and refs should try to remember that footy is primarily a form of entertainment. Next week I may be deprived of five of my team's key players because of (largely) poor and petty decisions. Ok there are rules but let's think big picture here. It a game - nothing more. I want to see the best possible game when I pay out good money. If someone pours you a pint of mild when you ask for bitter would you accpet it? I have no choice now in footballing terms! Next week, last week's ref will be elsewhere - I won't; I'll be at Stoke stuck with his and other decisions. Maybe the FA needs to think about the game in this context rather than rule chasing? Time for a sin bin maybe? Now that would be radical would it not ?
