Let's come up with something original to sing about GMP and their 'police intelligence' at the match on Saturday. Could sound good, even with only 3,500 Stoke fans.

I thought Blackburn was in Lancashire Police's jurisdiction? yes but i was told by john alcock that GMP strongly advised Lancashire police to give us as few tickets as possible and wanted us to have less than the 4,700 but by the time GMP had contacted Lancashire they had already been sent to us

The return of Harry Roberts is an absolute must.
For the younger ones who don't know it;
Harry Roberts is our friend, is our friend, is our friend Harry Roberts is our friend He kills Coppers
Shoots the bastards the with a gun, with a gun, with a gun shoots the bastards with a gun Harry Roberts
An rehash of the where's your father would be good also;
Where's your father, wheres your father, wheres your father GMP You haven't got one, you haven't got one you are bastards GMP
followed by a very loud WE HATE COPPERS! ;D
Read and browsed lots of posts recently about the lack of variation to our songs, and rather than reverting to Delilah, this PHW suggests the return of the incessant (bouncing up and down version) of Tony Pulis's Red and White Army.
NO CLAPPING AND NO "We hate Vale" included.
When done properly the two tone sound of this echoing around the away end would solve the problems of prolonged silent periods and the overuse of Delilah in one full swoop!

look i hate the plod as much as the next guy, but surely singing them songs will only add fuel to their fire, its bad enough as it is. we need to concentrate all our singing efforts in getting behind the lads on the pitch

Banbury...Like the rest of the world, football has gone all PC as well and we are not better off for it. Such songs mean nothing and are all part of the banter.
I remember an away game at Valley Parade in 1990, 2500 Stokies in attendance giving it plenty, in particular to a ginger steward, who in between lulls in supporting the team was regularly taunted with the chant...beat him on the 'ead, beat him on the 'ead, beat him on the 'ead with a baseball bat oh yeah.
It was an agressive song, but it was sung very much tongue in cheek and not one person singing it wanted to beat the offending ginger steward with a baseball bat.
Similarly, whilst I am angered by the decision to restrict our allocation at Blackburn, and whilst I believe that most coppers end up as coppers because they were bullied at school, I wouldn't want to shoot any of the bastards with a gun.
I am only 32 myself, but the old days were miles better than the sanitised atmospheres that we have today.

The police are paid to do a job. They are failing in their duty by their current attitude. People of Blackburn stand and be counted. The next step will be to ban you from leaving your houses. Car offences, public order violations and crimes of larceny will all be eradicated. Acts of violence and murder will be wiped from the crime sheets forever. We all know the police attitude, " We don't get involved in domestics." They just don't want to do the jobs they are paid for. They are just bone idle scroungers fleecing the tax and rate payers. They ought to be prosecuted for dereliction of duty!

Why bother calling them when you need them if they're so bad?? I don't hate the police. I do hate the incompetence of GMP, though, who treat all football supporters as scum and act against Stoke supporters without any reason - see the Section 27 orders thread at the top of the board. GMP have again caused trouble, causing Lancashire police to reduce the Stoke allocation at Blackburn from 7,000 to 4,700. This is in spite of the fact that this does not happen to any other club who have visited Blackburn recently, including Burnley and especially including teams whose supporters have been involved in violence in Blackburn before.
