it wouldnt be so bad but you get people on 83 84 minutes go down by them white railings and wait there. i think if everybody either went out of the stadium when they left there seat or stay in there seats. thats the hold up i think

I find it quite amusing when people push and are desperate to get down quick.
I find it even more amusing when you are pushed by an accidental stomach poke. From a giant fat man stepping down a step, not realising the actual size of the enormas growth that they carry around. Do they actually believe that they can fit on the step at the same time as someone else?

right now, in my living room, on match day, on my season ticket seat where I have sat for as long as I remember, West Stand, why, are you coming after me now. Please dont come and push me! Not the best memory then,we have only been there a little over 10 years.

Im more bothered about trying to get out of the North car park after the game, its the same there but with cars...arrogant pricks not letting anyone move, If everyone let just one person through it'd be nice a smooth, people are just dicks..One bloke actually got out of his car the other week to me...He must have been about 50, He was that mad he fell out his car on the way, ;D, He was very brave right up until the point i got out of my car too....Little bit of size difference ;D ;D Its the same principle inside as outside, just let one person go in front of you at each junction/crossroads/row and everyone will get away a lot quicker

We have some really pathetic people who will fuckin moan about anything and now how long it takes for the staduim to empty or how slow going down the steps it takes....fuck me!!!
How about stay in your seats while it emptys enough so you can easily walk down the steps and get out quicker???

i used to really hate the pushing, it really got on my tits. One week i thought, im just gonna sit here 10 mins and wait til the steps are clear, then it was an absolute breeze to stroll out the ground and a relatively clear walk up to the car. Weird!

It has to be said that the exits into the concourse are smaller than many grounds .
Its a bind, but I dunna mind to be honest.

I'm more concerned with the people who leave early, except they don't. Block 21 yesterday, 10 mins to go, dozens of people stood on the exit steps, blocking the view of hundreds of us sat trying to watch the game. Either stay in your seat til the end or feck off home, you selfish tossers!

I reckon for a lot of people it's just become a tradition to be the first out, Fantom's got the right theory.
Being at wheelchair height means getting to know an awful lot of strangers' beer guts when people are pushing past, lovely...

I was thinking of leaving early at the Villa game for the first time ever as i thought queues would be bad...(Then we scored, so that turned out pretty well!) I sit at top of sedddon, block 27 so it does (I agree) get very crowded.
Being almost at the top doesn't help as people towards the bottom all HAVE to push wheras those at the top also HAVE to push quickly. Beyond a joke waiting 10 minutes to move 20 yards maximum. And then the whole neck of a bottle situation getting out of the actual stadium gets even worse. Everyone slowly being pushed to the side and peop-le trying to light up now their out of the ground. Ridiculous just stopping to have a fag!
There has to be some way in which the queues can be eased! They are casued by those leaving early, so that is not an option!

Well as I said in my post, if the people who go to leave early actually do so, rather than block the steps, there really wouldn't be a problem.

potentially dangerous on stairs

FFS, what more can the club do. Use a bit of common and I dont think it will be a problem. Maybe though you would be happier if we went back to having the ground half empty! Shut up with yer moaning! all i'm saying is there was some idiots pushing yesterday, how long is it till someone gets hurt???????? The stewards are not doing their job correctly if that the case.[Part of their job is crowd control.

we already know they aren't.. they are nowhere to be seen around the concourse area after the whistle, just around the pitch edge

I agree though, people DO push when they fell the queue isn't moving!!!
It is those people that think: 'Hang on just 5 minutes at the bottom here, we'll still get out quick enough'
Yes but nobody else does!!!
The slowest queue does seem to be blocks 27 and 26 due to it being the merging of two stand...

Must admit I missed your original point but its all about the success isnt it. Bigger crowds more hassle.
