Better at set pieces, better link up with his full back .
Soares maybe be better running with the ball at his feet, but that isn't enough , his delivery is Poor , and until he works on it enough, he doesn't bring enough to the party to get an invite

100% agree Dave. Tonge must be wondering what he has to do to get a start. (Also if I was Sonko I'd be wondering if I really am worse than Leon Cort!)

Agree entirely. Soares was poor for me yesterday. Didnt bring alot to the party. My only worry is that Pulis doesnt exactly like to change it about too much does he.

Frustrating this one, Ive been saying the same since the spurs game
odd how Tony Doesnt seem to think that Michael Tonge can seem to play a full game in the premiership for us.
As I said last night, we are presently playing matches with better players sitting on the bench than, in the starting eleven.

Great corners from Soares but he hasn't brought enough to the game yet.
I'd like to see Tonge start the newcastle game

I must have missed his great corners these last 3 home games, because I don't think I've seen one.

I'd have to agree. Soares had a really good game against Tottenham, but hasn't really lived up to that level since. He looks like a good player to becomne more and more prominent over the next few years though.
I've been very impressed with Tonge from the few appearances he's made recently and at this moment in time he's definitely above Soares in the pecking order in my opinion.
