Not that we want him, but Pascal Chimbonda hasnt exactly made his name since the summer.
Keiran Richardson or Cisse would be nice but not for the price tag.

Kenwyne Jones was the only one who looked remotely useful at the Brit.

"Dean Whitehead Kieran Richardson Kenwyne Jones Pascal Chimbonda David Healy"
3 of the above started for them last weekend, as did Whitehead. What planet are some of you on, why in God's name would Sunderland sell their first team players to us?

I quite like whitehead. But Kenwyn Jones is the only one that was half decent at the Brit.

I'd like Richardson but I doubt if Keane will sell one of the few players he has bought who is worth the money he paid for him. Kenwyne Jones is ok - certainly a better player than when he was with us but, again, Keane is unlikely to sell one of his few successes.

Richardson is their best player by a mile and would look even better in a half decent team - like our's.
Dean Whitehead is the best of the remaining pretty poor bunch of travelling mercenaries.

They should offload the manager first, but no thanks if he's on offer

Kenwyne Jones is arguably their most important player. He's like a (slightly) more prolific Mama.

They look like a team in for a long struggle- 70million RK has spent and his side looks worth a fraction of that. I wouldn't be surprised with his inflated ego to see him walk and blame someone else for their shortcomings.
Richardson has been very good- see the point above as why they would want to sell their better players anyway.

It'd have to be Malbranque for me, pacey attacking midfielder that can also play on the wing (and the left one at that)! Can't see them selling the likes of Jones, Richardson et al as they are their best players, they'll be looking to get rid of the fringe players, like Chimbonda etc.
So that probably rules Malbranque out too!

Kenwyne Jones is a decent player on his day, he'd make a good foil for Fuller, he's big strong good in the air and is good with the ball at his feet as well. We've no chance of signing him though.
Chimbonda might be worth a bid, although he might be more trouble than he's worth.

Get a grip lads. They paid £6 million for Jones (which staggered me at the time) and his stock has risen dramatically since then. So, who else thinks we'd stand a chance of buying him?

With the exception of Richardson and Cisse, i wouldnt touch any of the useless bastards. Sunderland imo are the second worst team (behind West Brom) we've played this year, and i honestly believe they'll go down!
