Stoke v Hull Stoke have got a better home record than two of the top four - Chelsea and Aston Villa, while Hull have not won for five games and this could be a big scalp for Stoke. It is not that teams have started to work Hull out now, more that they had an absolutely brilliant start and people are taking them really seriously - for example they see Geovanni and think 'we had better stop him playing'. It is getting more and more difficult for them but, in fairness, they keep coming back - they came back against Manchester City and against Portsmouth last week - but, when you play Stoke, they will have to deal with everything they bring to the table and if they don't they will be beaten. Verdict: 2-1 news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7752190.stm

Sod off! We've got decent home record and you are just Hull City. When we finish above you at the end of the season will fans and pundits look back and say 'what a big scalp that was for Stoke, beating Hull earlier in the season!'???? I dont bloody think so!

No disrespect sutton, but he's right - it is only Hull City.
It's a must 3 points and I think we'll deliver.

I was hoping he'd predict a draw, but I suppose he has to get at least one right seeing as he has got us wrong so far.

I'd snatch your hand off for a 2-1 win.
I'm nervous about Satdee - very nervous.
Hull have scored in every away game this season and if we don't score first I think we will be up against it.
Having said that, fuck it - GOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRNN STOKE!!!!

I kind of know what he means though, MrWheeze... I think we all know (Hull fans included- no disrespect intended) they're not gonna be up there at the end of the season, and if we can beat them it's really a six-pointer, so if we take the points whilst they're flying it really would be an excellent result.
That's not to say we should treat a win against them in the same light as we took the win over the Arse, but it's a vital game against fellow relegation candidates who are on top form at the moment.

No disrespect sutton, but he's right - it is only Hull City. It's a must 3 points and I think we'll deliver. Thats what Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle, and West Brom said when we visited. No disrespect, but we fancy our chances too, we've won tougher games on paper this season.

Sutton,
You played Newcastle when they were going through a bad patch, same with Spurs (as did we) and West Brom are just proper shite. As for Arsenal, everyone’s beating them this season mate, don’t get carried away with that one.

Hull will be a very tough game -not least because they seem to do well at The Brit- but they aren't in good form, far from it.
If we'd not won for five, including home games against Bolton and a very brittle Manchester City, we'd be worried, very worried.

It's a game both teams will go into thinking they have every chance of winning, and rightly so. It could go either way.

i just wouldn't fancy being ANY team coming to the Brit this season...that isn't being overly cock sure of ourselves...but at the West Brom game, last week, (and we were very tame) i considered what it must be like for the opposition at our place...I'd bloody hate it! No wonder all these away fans turn up and just sit there quietly!
However, as a Stokie...it's the best place in the world ;D

Of course you are going to fancy it, West Brom also fancied it. we will be fighting for our lives and we need to take points from our fellow candidates.
Unfortunately for you we will be going all out to win at home and I'd be happy to snatch a point at your place and I'm sure Hull will be happy to come away with a point.
This game is our biggest so far in my view, we need to win at home and against relegation candidates.

It's a game (just as last Saturday) that both teams will be going into saying "we can win this one". Let's face it, a win for us on Saturday will not be considered a 'scalp' but it would be a very creditable win (they've only lost once away from home). I think our home form will count for alot...hopefully three points

Sutton, You played Newcastle when they were going through a bad patch, same with Spurs (as did we) and West Brom are just proper shite. As for Arsenal, everyone’s beating them this season mate, don’t get carried away with that one. The old 'playing teams at the right time' card again, its so boring. The difference is how we play away from home. The way Pulis sets up away, do you honestly believe you would have won all of those games? Look at your home wins, it can be argued that the fixtures fell well for you too, but I don't see that mentioned on here, it's utter bollocks. ANY away win in this division is some achievment, whatever the circumstances
