Economic climate???I think houses are cheaper here than London! The economic crisis should make it easier to sign players if its house prices theyre worried about!

I would love to see Brett Emerton down the right Big, Strong, Quick and skillfull; in fact if he wasn't so skillfull TP would probably already have signed him Ricardo Garner would do me on the left as well Both would have to be bought, but are they out of our reach?? Yes.

Megson would be very reluctant to let Gardner leave, hes been there best player so far this season

Ledley will be a no go - even if Cardiff do agree to sell him, a number of other clubs have been sniffing around since our summer interest. McFadden has been a winner for me, and would've loved us to go for him in the summer too - unlikely target for TP though. Surman isn't a bad shout but could do with a better mix of youth and experience. Stephen Hunt is another that I was hoping for in the summer but didn't materialise....Pennat should never be allowed to come to us, I cant say I was gutted when he turned down the chance in the summer but we need boys who genuinely want to play for us, not those that just "make do". My list would be:
Ledley Hunt McFadden Gamst Pedersen (on loan - not on top form at the mo so an outside chance maybe??) Etherington (but always an injury risk)

McFadden is an 'aaard working striker playing on the wing - I'd say he was an ideal target for TP ;D

because they are young players (bar etherington) who will not want to move. Its very rare that these players would ever sign unless we were paying alot of money, which we won't be! I don't think being young and living in London should rule anyone out of a move. londoners don't know theres a world outside london so doubt he will come. arsenal will probs buy him and never play him apart from cup games against barnsley. he would be a mug to go there.

I'd be quite happy with young Adam Johnson from Middlesbrough or El Zhar from Liverpool tbh if we couldn't get any of teh others mentionned in.
Both have bags of pace and skill, can play upfront and can get to the by-line and whip in a quality cross. I reckon Kitson in particluar would benefit from this. Johnson's an out and out left-footed left winger I believe which is what we could do with and then possibly move Rory into the centre.
Just a thought ;D

Joe Ledley no chance- once went shopping in London so no chance of him coming.

I wouldn't mind us signing Haynes, looks a very good prospect.

I'd say most building societies even these days would be willing to give a mortgage to a footballer on £15k upwards per week who had a substantial deposit to put down and was planning to pay the mortgage off over 5 years. I bet the Britannia would be only too willing to do a deal - especially if the player also opened a Save and Support account! ;D
