......... way back in June, The Sun did a preview of the season and our game on Saturday was earmarked as one of the seasons key games. It feels like ages ago now but it's finally here. Both us and Hull are doing better than most people could have anticipated. Hopefully we'll be prepared and up for the challenge.

Our home record speaks for itself, I think this is a game we can win again. They’ve had a good start, granted, but we shouldn’t let that affect our attitude to the game whatsoever.
Many teams have probably slipped up due to underestimating Hull, that’s one thing Tone won’t let us do.
I don’t care about performance either, as with last Saturday, it is the 3 points that are vital.

Yeah I know. It can be a crap dull snorefest but if we get three points it'll be magnificent.

Spot on Joe. I’ve seen enough this season to know we can play a bit and compete at this level but Saturdays match is all about the result.
It would be nice to turn in a performance as well but result comes first. These are the big, must-win matches for us.

On Saturday I'll be satisfied with an unsoiled sheet. It all leads from there.

Hull have scored in EVERY away game this season and I don't think we will be the ones to break that run.
We have to score first.

They are good at corners. Perhaps we can learn something and stop ours being so wasteful.

They were the best team we played last season. I hope we can get a result.

They are on a poor run at the moment and our confidence must be sky high at home with the recent results so i think a home win is on the cards but only just, 2-1

If our away form was better we'd be sitting comfortably in the top half by now, thats certainly something that needs to be a addressed, can't fault our home record though, 5 wins out of 7, thats impressive, and we should have gotten something out of the game Vs Everton, so I fancy us to get at least a draw against Hull at home, if we can nullify Geovanni and keep it tight when they get corners I think we'll come out on top.
Be interesting to see how they defend Delaps throws, I here Tango man has a plan ???

given the weather forecast it's either going to be slippy, tight and a 0-0 or a fluke goal..... OR it will be open, interesting with the weather factor and full of goals.
Really wouldn't like to stick my neck out on this one but desparately hoping for a win. I agree with previous posts, performance would be nice but the points are essential first. The problem with hull is that we can't even relax and try and play a bit like we usually do even if we manage to create a 2 goal cushion cos they will stick at it regardless. Geovanni is always dangerous, by far one of the best players of the season so far.
Will be interesting to see how Delaps throws go never mind how they defend them if the ball is gonna be wet and slippy....I'm sure his shirt will do a grand job of drying it off first!

When the fixtures came out if you'd have told me we'd be fourteenth with seventeen points by this stage I'd have been delighted. However, if you had told me we'd be six points behind Hull I'd have really feared the worst. Funny game isn't it.

Lets not fall into the same trap a lot of other teams have done this season and underestimate Hull. Don't get me wrong I think we have a good chance of winning this one but so have they! This game is going to be a tough one and if we go into it in the wrong frame of mind then they'll turn us over. What we do bring to the game is the fact that we've beat by far more seasoned teams than Hull at home and therefore have nothing to fear.
