That is exactly the same pose he held in front of the Mighty Boothen when he scored against the Vagrunts in 92/3 - We love you Steino ;D

if I was that way inclined I'd want to have his babies!
I've been supporting the club for nearly 40 years now and the man is and always will be one of my Gods!

When Steino had a sight of goal from anywhere in the box or around it, he'd fire one in. His variety of strikes always impressed me. Some of my faves were Forest away, Rotherham away, Vale away and appearing like a ghost to score against the baggies at home. "Scores goals only others can dream about." Watch these. The first one makes the second one even better. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XMvSzliTGpkuk.youtube.com/watch?v=k80ApnYtYdo

Never saw him play personally, by the way my old man and his mates rave about him, however, he must ave been one hell of a player! He was superb and he wasn't even a striker when Lou bought him in from Oxford Utd he was classed as a winger. I remember him getting 2 goals in the 89/90th minute against Leyton Orient when it looked like we were heading for defeat. Also never forget how he got his two goals against Schmiecal whom many thought at the time was the best keeper in the world.

Steino was and always be a legend in my eyes. I lent my video to a mate years ago, never to be seen again but managed to get one off ebay a couple of years ago. Its a priceless piece of our history & shows god at his very best.

Used to drive but now get chauffered by the biddulph vics bus, far less hassle. If you can get by the coaches after the game before they all leave you could have it then.
