Hull have found the going very tough in recent weeks but seem to still be playing good football.
There start was really incrediable and some thing we could only dream of.
This game will not be easy and I can see us struggling to be honest. We haven't played that well since the Arsenal game and we need to get out of the blocks early for this one.
Come on Stoke.

They are seriously arrogant, if it wasn't for their vile fans I think I would like the club. I think Phil Brown's extreme arrogance has rubbed off on a lot of them. They have done fantastic over the past 5 years or so, but they are speaking now as though they ARE a top 4 or 5 club.
I can see Phil Brown running up the line if they score trying to rub our noses in it. I am not looking forward to this game, not because I don't think we can beat them, but because I think they are the biggest w*****s in the division, even eclipsing Manure's fans.

There's a lot on here who say that we will be pushovers, its no different. However, the balanced fans of both teams know its going to be a very tight game. Don't take it to heart. Suttontiger - are you embarassed by the rants of E_G_D_Wright? The bloke strikes me as somewhat unbalanced, and not a good reflection on Hull fans, like your good self. He has some pretty radical views on life, and is well known on rivals for pissing people off (including our own fans!). He's not my cup of tea, but he is the minority. It does however amaze me how fans of all clubs get so wound up on a messageboard. Its supposed to be banter and a bit of a laugh. I'm guilty of winding people up now and again, but thats part of the fun. My favorite is when posters offer a meet to sort it out with fists ;D Some people overstep the mark (EGD Wright has), but as a rule, its really not worth getting wound up

They are seriously deluded. What a stupid bunch they really are. Easiest game of the season? despite the fact that they are pretty much a one man team and have more jam then Hartleys they automatically think they are world beaters. They cheated a point against Pompey at the weekend (who had their top striker injured). I have respect for the Hull team and what they have achieved, but some of their "fans" seriously need to ask themselves a few questions. Hull 0-5 Wigan. Hmmmm. Really daft post. To say we are a one man team shows huge ignorance. I have never seen a Hull City team, that are exactly that, a TEAM!. They work incredibly hard for each other. Yes, Geovanni gets the headlines, but without the real hardworkers, such as Turner, Zayette, Marney, Ashbee, King and Cousin, we'd be screwed. Don't forget the team put Geo in the positions where he can express himself, thats why its working. As for the Wigan result, did you see our team that day? A few people on a messageboard hardly represent our entire fanbase, I'd put a bit more thought in your next post

What a load of arrogant bastards!! Their fans think they will turn up, pass us to death and win comfortably??!!
Think they may have a bit of a shock come Saturday!
I honestly hope we beat them just to spite Tango man and their fans ignorance!

I'm still amazed that the likes of Ashby & Turner have stepped up & looked the part.
fair play to Hull on that front.
still think Myhill is the player I would have at Stoke before any other.
should be a decent game,Hull will presumably look to attack & we will ahve Ricardo firing on all cylinders.
score draw is the obvious bet. We have won a lot of home games now & so we are due a draw.

I honestly didn't think he was good enough for the championship, but he seems to get better, he's a great bloke to have as captain. Turner is different, he has always looked class, and we will struggle to keep him Papers say Man City want him for 6 million. At todays prices he is worth more than that. He is by far our most important player, and I guarantee if he stays fit, he will be in the England squad very soon. Myhill is the best shot stopper I've ever seen at our club, but he's never convinced me on crosses, which could be a problem this weekend.

Egg Ead Wright is clearly wrong - and utterly ill-mannered. Surely, he must realise that it is terribly bad form to SHOUT on the message boards. Then again perhaps not, after all he is clearly deluded......

I think that Hull could quite easily give us a 3-0 tonking if we dont show some more quality than we did last weekend. If our entire seasons away record ends up being as good as theirs is now, I would be delighted.

Hull have made a tremendous start and all credit to them, its going to be a very tough game for both teams,I think which ever teams defence copes best with crosses, corners, throw ins will win ,in this respect I am gutted that Shawcross looks likely to miss the game as I think we have looked far more convincing at the back since he replaced Cort, however the anticipated aerial bombardment we are likely to face should suit Cort (If he plays). By the way ,who is Tango man talking to in that silly microphone? makes him look a right prat.

I dont mind them turning up, if they think they are going to do to us what Aston Villa, Spurs & Arsenal thought they were going to do to us.

I dont mind them turning up, if they think they are going to do to us what Aston Villa, Spurs & Arsenal thought they were going to do to us. I've quoted you staffs but I could've quoted at least half a dozen more. Do you really think that what a small minority of opposing fans posts reflect what the management/players think? Quotes like,"if they think they just have to turn up to win then they've another thing coming" Do you really think that is what our players are thinking? The rivals board does NOT reflect "most" Hull fans.People like you are as bad as the people you refer to.Put it into perspective boys n girls before you post, you're reading posts on a message board ffs."Vile fans",get a grip and post what you know and not what you couldn't possibly know.We had stones thrown at us last season but only an idiot would think all Stoke fans are the same. The game,ah yes, very difficult game to predict.I hear some of you saying that you can't let Hull "play" or they will beat us.Wrong! We're at our best when under the cosh, defending,we break well,we have to try to "play" at home and as you can see it's not as successful.A point will do me but this season is so unpredictable, let's face it,anything can happen, enjoy the ride,I know I am!

I quite like Dull and have been very envious of their start to the campaign, although we are catching up fast and will finish higher IMHO. I'm sure we will both stay in this league and the league will be richer for it...

They had an excellent start but have come back to earth with a bang in recent weeks while we have been in great form. I feel that it will be far from an easy game for either side but i do think we will be very high on confidence after our recent run at home and i do think we will win but only narrowly, maybe 2-1
