Calamity Carson?? It was Terry that fucked up. He should have put it in row Z. However, hopefully it will just make carson feel less confident at the Brit on Satdy. SGS He must have gave Terry the shout because he was about to head it back. |

Carson cannot be excused SGS. As a keeper, in those situations, you have sight of everything in front of you and if you are any good, you clear the lot.
Unfortunately for England, Carson is seemingly not very good and as such has probably done his confidence ahead of Saturday a world of good.
I am sure us nice, welcoming Stokies will help to put his misery behind him.

Jeez Terry was screaming for Carson to come for it and the wanker stayed put. I had to watch it with German colleagues (shame I know  ) and they said who the fuck is he? Carson should get the full treatment on satdee his confidence must be in the gutter and quite rightly so. Even Calamity James looked really good for that first half and should have stayed on to give him full confidence for the future, lord knows what Trapatoni was thinking but thankfully we won and I can go to work tomorrow with my German colleagues and smile |

Carson had no business to be anywhere near that ball. A decent keeper would've stood his ground and just told his centre half to launch it into row Z.
However, as much as Carson was at fault for the goal, let's not forget that Darren "In the form of his life for Spurs" Bent missed an absolute sitter just seconds before the Germans equalised. Had he not been such a spanner, then the Carson error wouldn't have happened.

Wow there are some bitter people on here lol As far as i've seen and heard (work with 2 West Brom fans) ever since he's gone to West Brom he's played very well apart from the Yakubu goal against Everton and made some blinding saves. I'm all for booing fuck out of him but let's not make out that Sorensons season has been any better. Lots of good games and 1 clanger is all i've seen.
