If i'm honest, I think we may get tonked tomorrow They know we took a point off Liverpool They know we beat Arsehole They lost last week I think there's no chance of them under estimating us, which might of given us a chance. Our only saving grace is.............. my predictions are usually shit ;D

Most people are expecting us to get slaughtered..like we were against Villa..Liverpool and Arsenal... ..in many ways this game is going to be easier than West-Brom..a team we are expected to beat... We've got nothing to lose at Old Trafford...just get right in their faces from the off..wind Rooney up..or ideally get a couple of prostitutes to walk around the pitch to distract him...and while he's getting his wallet out sneak an early goal in... Think we'll get a shock win 2-1...

Crikey just read that it's 130 matches since Man U lost successive matches in the Prem...I'd love it if we were the ones to put a stop to that!

Ive just been thinking about the game tomorrow and do you know what, Ive actually just got a tear in my eye.........
When i think back to the to all the shit we've had to endure over the past two decades......The autoglass trophys were a couple of highs...the odd cup game/run wasnt bad...... but when you look back the majority of the time it was heartbreak and shit......Dont get me started on Gillingham away in the play offs.....Or the shambles of "pass the manager" with Karmara, Chic bates etc or the whole icelandic affair.....I remember games like at Chesterfield in the league when we had an uncovered terrace and their main stand had wooden benches and their fans could even "change" round at half time like non league football, im sure people have their own Chesterfield memories but tomorrow, less than 24hours away we play one of the best teams in europe, the current european champions and the current premier league champions and you know what...its not a one off cup game....its not a pre season friendly....Its for 3 points in the Premier league.......
Im so proud i cant begin to tell you, im going to have to finish this off now before the mrs turns arounds and i have to explain why im nearly crying on a football website......
Be Loyal, Be proud, Be Stoke......those words never meant more to me than tomorrow..............

glynburton - I agree - from afar I have supported Stoke for 36 years and when I think I will be sitting in Old Trafford tomorrow watching the mighty Potters I really can't believe it. Pulis and Coates need to be thanked for what they have done (and forgiven for past horrors). Come on you rip roaring Potters!!

whatever happens, and yes a possible pounding is on the way, WE WILL BOUNCE BACK! Something inside tells me we could upset the applecart but if not so be it, we will learn from it and that will only make us better. The lads have the energy, pride, nous and determination to do well, its a massive learning curve up here and looking back we have come a long way since that day at the Reebok. Pretty away from home? Maybe not but its beggining to be effective. 0-0 will do nicely wether it pleases Linekar et al or not. GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN !!!!!

We go there in damage limitation mode if we're honest. Even now I'm thinking how much we need to get something from Brazil next week.

Win, lose or draw - this is the game which I have been looking forward to for 23 years! I'm delighted to be there in person and not have to reply on a dodgy stream or listen to dear old Nige.
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNN STOKE! ;D

23 years of suffering some of the hardest times that this club has ever endured could be forgotten tomorrow with something as simple as a disgracefully boring 1-0 win.
We'd forget getting soaked at some seriously undeveloped shitholes on Tuesday and Wednesday night, the mis-treatment by the police, the dodgy pies, the stomach aches after the pies and the beer that you knew the landlord was adding to...................................................or maybe we would keep our feet on the ground, respect what we have done and where we have been and prove ourselves to be in a different class to the SHIT fans that we see in front of us.
Do eeet Stoke!!!

The Thai 'pundits' (I use that word in the very loosest term of the word!) reckon it'll be a 4-0 victory to Manure!!
I personally think 1 goal is going to settle it either way. For some strange reason I think we could just win this . . . I haven't felt that way about any away game this season! Fingers crossed that we don't show them any respect and get stuck in 'em ala Arse.

My instructions to the lads have just got to go out there and enjoy it. It's not a game we looked at and hand-on-heart could say we expect points from. So as long as we don't get pumped and embarrassed, then I won't have too many qualms. Ball rentention is going to be key, also so maybe Amdy 'My-second-touch-is-a-tackle' Faye might not be the cleverest option.
I do think it would be wise to take Olly out of the middle, as I feel it could get quite tasty in there at times and he couldshy away from the game.

Anderson was first black player to get a full cap but first was Lawrie Cunningham who played for the under 21s. He's dead now.

Mama to start.
As much as I love mama, I was hoping Kits would start after his performance midweek.
But Mama will probably give us a better chance if we are to be hoofing it for the whole 90, anyway in pulis we trust.
Cannot see us getting a result, but we'll give a bloody good go, I'll be happy if we don't get turned over.
