This is building up like a comic book Roy of the Rovers season with our squad who are now pasting all before them after being written off as no-hopers..
Goalie- De Goey- Veteran who had been all but forgotten, overcomes his professional seen it all cynicism to inspire the defence to heroics. The classic eccentric man between the sticks
Captain Clarke- Abrasive and under-rated,rises to the challenge thrown down by canny boss.
Halls- not given a chance by big massive club,all set to prove them wrong, so wrong
Eustace- Ball playing, hard tackling hub of the side
Noel-Williams- gangly but talented, returns to glory after his career had been written off by former club.
Akinbiyi- Restored to confidence by canny boss, out to prove the mockers very wrong.
Pulis- Plucked from the dole to universal criticism by terminally depressed fans steers mighty Stoke first from relegation then an unstoppable charge to the play offs.
Gislasson- Faceless bureaucrat, gets lucky..
