Pardew sniffing around Reo-Coker and also Nowland. It's like vultures circling a rotting carcass!

That will teach the clubs who can't handle their finances correctly to not go for the shit or bust approach. ;D

agreed, i have no sympathy at all for clubs like franchise fc or leeds, they fucked up, do they expect sympathy from other clubs for their mistakes???
I actually thought it would of been a good idea to buy that agyamong of franchise, £150,000 is a good buy.
as for leeds, they lived the dream, but screwed up good and proper. Both clubs will be out of business and in liquidation in 18 months time as they are both heading for relagation.
Serves them right

Yeah. Lets let the likes of Man U, Liverpool, Russia and Newcastle get richer, and re-distribute even less money round the game. Thats what football needs in this country...

completely missing the point mate, why the hell should clubs like stoke struggle finiancially by keeping everything tight, while clubs spend money which is not their's and expect sympathy from these other clubs when they realise they have fucked up. I could also not give two tosses about manure or newcastle, why the hell is that even a point to be made. Although it pains me to say it, these are well run clubs, hence the fact that these teams are near the top of the league and teams like franchise and leeds are bottom. as i said before, serves them right

I think the 'rich' have always done this - it is how many smaller clubs have survived. It is getting a bit extreme though.
One thing - I don't think the likes of Leeds should do a 'Leicester' (aka cheating bastards) and go into administration and not pay off any off there debts.

Don’t give a toss about how the big clubs in this country continue to abuse their powers and continue to scrub every other club in to the ground Broadack? That’s a bit sad isn’t it?

not yet they havent Damo
Romford, the reason the big clubs have so much wealth is because they managed their money correctly in the first place. that is the point that is being made !! If Charlton carry on like they are then they will also be classed as wealthy as they will increase their crowds and merchandise, is that also wrong?

Managed money correctly or taken advantage of weaker clubs? The G13 is where the power in football lays.
A self appointed self serving body of wealthy clubs acting like collective vultures.

So if we as a club became wealthy through good management on a financial level you would think we were the same would you. or doesnt it matter?
And if we got into the ppremiership and stayed there for ten years it could well happen. Every club has its day, if you recall Newcastle were struggling like hell not that long ago !!

Rex, I would hope we wouldn’t abuse our new found position.
If we were promoted to the Premier League and they had that God awful vote to limit promotion and relegation to two places, I would be sickened if the Stoke board voted for it. It’s another example of pulling up the ladder. Although it would benefit us greatly, it would be a great disservice to other well run and badly run clubs.
You would soon have us becoming the Man U fans every normal person so despises.

People need to remember football is business.
Its like me paying the going rate for stock from a company i know are up the creek and need to make a quick sale.... Of course i would'nt, i would bid them in the nuts, knowing i had a better than average chance of getting the stock.
just like they would do to me if the situation was reversed.

Because your talking from a purely moneterist and selfish greed point of you. The discounted stock you are buying and potential profit you are making has a high social cost. But you clearly dont give a fuck?

I have some sympathy, but Stoke got very little when Dixon and Bould joined Arsenal.
Thanks to a tribunal for Bould and C & H doing the other business if memory serves me right.
