I really really do not believe that we have no-one better than this oxygen thief. He is a disgrace and from now on if he goes on the field then I go home it's as simple as that( I went at 78 minutes yesterday). I have never felt so strongly about a stoke player EVER! I pay for my season ticket like the other 6 thousand Stokies who can afford to do(no disrespect to those who can not) and can not see why we play a lad with no talent whatsoever with a football. He is in the wrong job. If any one can tell me seriously what he adds to the team then feel free.

I do agree, he is very poor. That said, Parkin was shocking yesterday. At least Vince did do some light jogging and actually won his first header (not sure he attempted one after that, I think he thought it was job done)
With Mama (who is out of form) going away and Fuller with a possible messed up mind we know what we need to be buying in the window
I don't think Parkin or Pericard will be sold

Parkin was shocking yesterday but as talent goes we all know that he can do it , if he really wants to. However can anyone tell me when that thief pericard played well? It really winds me up. Theres thousands of stoke lads on a fraction of his wages that put more effort in just getting to games, let alone his piss poor attempts at looking like a proffessional footballer.

He is NOT better than Parkin.
Parkin can @ least control the ball (& pass to other Stoke players) & occasionaly shoot staright.
Pericard cant do any of these. - yesreday he did @ least show a modicum od pace (late in the game against tired & already slow Hull dfenders mind) before fluffing his big chance.
@ least Bamber & Keith Scott scored sometimes.
possibly the worst forward we have ever had - & he has another year on his contract.

He did ten times better than Parkin yesterday.
This 'fluffed' chance should have been a penalty too.

silverdale - he was absolutely brilliant for the final 12 minutes yesterday!

He had as many chances as we'd had nearly all game

Post by lordb on Jan 2, 2008 13:34:23 GMT
why?
he fell over as usual, you dont get penalties for that. instead of concentrating on shooting he was too busy worrying about leaning into the defender & ended up on his backside.

The defender was all over him.
Pericard is a player who will never be given a chance by some people.

Jug Bank - I have seen him several times in a Stoke shirt and if he isn't falling on his arse then he is giving the ball away. How much longer do I give him? He is fucking shit.

In pre-season he was playing well, he's doing well for the reserves. He's had hardly any time playing in the first team this season and when he does, people who don't even see the time he spent on the pitch like you come on here moaning.
Get behind the team you cretin

he is NOT doing well for the reserves - he's painful to watch for them as well.

If Parkin is sold tommorow Pericard will still be the worst player we have.

jug bank - , if you want to pay to watch him then good for you. I have my season ticket so i will tell it like it is , he is no good end of. i support my team but if you tell me that he is the best option then you know nothing about football mate.

silverdale you are right.
The bloke is a disgrace of human being and a fraudster!
More worrying Pulis loves him and thinks he has 'Power and Pace' he actually said that on live radio after the Burnley Bore draw!
God he better wise up quick because if he is better than Patterson in Pulis's eyes then we are doomed!

Just another in long list of joke strikers we've had down the years. It's like a product such as a toaster - you can penny pinch and buy a cheap one but sooner or later you realise it's not up to the job so you off-load it and have to go out and buy another one.
Now! You can penny pinch again and you'll find yourself with the same problem. In the long run you end up spending more money.
Or, (get this Coatesy) you spend some proper money on something that is up to the task and will give a good return.
Will this club ever learn?
Also for those of you who somehow missed my genius (if I say so myself) anagram of Pericard -
Dire Crap.

if you tell me that he is the best option then you know nothing about football mate. Better than Parkin - yes Better than any other reserve strikers - yes The solution for the future - of course not but until then get behind him!

on yesterday's show parkin really can't control the ball and unlike parkin, Pericard actually looked lively when he came on, I don't like either but pericard should be given the nod ahead of Parkin, parkin has had numerous chances and failed.

He did really well when he came on against Hull. Showed plenty of strength and if i might add a touch of pace too.
That was one of the positives that i took from the match especially with Fuller missing from the line up.
More of the same of that kind of attitude please Vincent.

The most worrying thing is i was actually relieved when Sidibe went off and Pericant came on.
What a sad state of affairs!!
