P22, your opening thread was totally unneccessary as, once again, you set out to stifle opinion and drag up the divide... Spot on ruts. Its a pathetic attempt to stop anyone reasonably questioning todays poor performance.

Because there hasn't been an anti TP backlash at all in my opinion other than the odd dick on Radio Stoke (theres a surprise). I think those with polarised opinions hope that they have something to get there teeth into after the game but I don't think there's much here today unfortunately for you. We were wank end of, nothing more nothing less, I'm sure we'll improve for Sunday and I'm sure we'll be wank again before the seasons out, that's football.

Ruts ive voiced my opinion. oh wait a minute arnt we allowed an opinion? An opinion would make a refreshing change. Your sole contribution is to criticize fellow supporters who are not so ready to fall on their Tony Pulis love doll and bum it to within an inch of its life. Strange as this concept may be to you, it is possible to recognise he has done well for us so far this season but still have doubts about decisions he makes and disappointment at performances the team puts on. He is only completely vindicated when and if we achieve promotion. He has more tools and opportunity at his disposal than any Stoke manager for decades. He will not be thanked if this transfer window is bodged in the same manner as the last three and we again tail off. That is the reality.

this whole ...If you don't like how stoke play then stay at home argument is really pi55 poor, i note potters 22 said it earlier to knype...you tell them to stay away because their opinion is different to yours ....then you can moan about the stay aways not puttin money in thus non to spend...myself personally i think at times pulis is tactically inept ( today's substitutions alone bear me out ) but i'm a stoke fan till i die whether pulis and coates are there or not...and the argument you raise truly is childish when seen in the cold light of day

LMAO make or break for tp? its negative all the time from the likes of markwolstanton and knype, unbelievable!!! Perhaps if you took you head out of the crack in Tone's arse you would see that supporters of the football club are actually discussing what is required to take the club forward. All that a manager supporter (and make no mistake that is what you have become) can detect is criticism.

Potters as above ive praised the effort of the players and the manager and great great credit goes to them for our current postion. But, I really do believe with the squad we have now that so much more could come from it and today was an open goal missed to get Cresswell upfront and put the Steady dependable Pugh at left wing and take it to em with Dicko in at left back..
Now we need that new blood in asap.
People including yourself have said wait until Jan when the window opens and so we wait and if Pulis/Scholes cannot attract players now who are better than the woeful: Sidibe,Pericard,Parkin,Sweeney,His Son,Buxton,Broomes etc etc then they never will and especially in the position we are in today and the overall strong standing the club has at present of the ground now ours and finances under control then that really says it all,and all we will get is the latest spin on we could'nt get him and that would'nt drop our way and all the other excuses we heard over and over in the past then forget it.

It's a bit harsh to be too hard on the players (and the manager) after a decent enough run and tough Christmas campaign but Pulis really doesn't help himself.
Parkin and Pericard will never be good enough at this level, never in a million years they don't possess the requisite ability, attitude or temprament. This makes his persistence with isolating the second best striker at the club out wide, idiotic. When your other main striker is likable but frankly horrendous in front of goal you cannot afford this sort of unfathomable whimsy.
I'm almost looking forward more to see who we can fuck off in January than who we can get in.

We are still in a play off spot so no complaints from me BUT today confirmed what everyone - including Pulis himself - must know 1) That underneath the first 11 we have no real squad 2) That Mama needs either a rest/psychologist/kick up arse 3) That we have neither the tactical variation or creative personnel to open up resolute/well organised opponents (although Fuller would have murdered immobile old fart Wayne Brown if he'd been available today) 4) That Parkin has proved to be a waste of money and is not good enough/suited to our style of play( every manager has his flops - Lou signed Keith Scott ) 5) That this division is not very good - and that 4/5 key signings of the right quality ( I'd say a central midfielder, goalscorer, left winger and an up'n'coming reserve keeper ) will see us in the Premiership next season.

If Sidibe can get his head and game right then he can be useful and we all know this but for me he can't be the answer longterm and if we got promoted then he will be shown up regular, but again this is my opinion on him as a footballer thars all and i will never have a dig at him about his efforts because he is a workhorse.
But from the bench late on in games Sidibe could be very useful indeed.
Now lets get some new players in to help the 1st eleven that have done wonders so far and get Diao fit and raring to go then 2008 could be the best in SCFC recent history and i would gladly kiss/shake Pulis's hands and say thank you.

4) That Parkin has proved to be a waste of money and is not good enough/suited to our style of play( every manager has his flops - Lou signed Keith Scott ) Lou undeniably dropped a bollock signing Keith Scott, but did we have three strikers on the club's books at the same time who offered as little goal threat as Parkin, Pericard and Sidibe do while he was the manager?

Potters, no one has said they want Pulis out.
We were shit today, and I like Pulis, but he got it wrong this afternoon, not a fucking clue amongst anyone in the team.
We need to sign some players and FAST, if we're to stay in the top 6
