I'm afrais i cannot contribute to a thread regarding Griffin. I have an attack of the vapours and require medical assistance by the time i have given my opinion of that man.
I truly truly hate him with a passion. Were he ablaze, i would spare my micturation.

It was always going to be a massive struggle, I just think people had a real eye opener on Saturday, particularly as two of their goals came in areas where we generally have been pretty strong.
Its also been harder to get players in who are good enough and with two weeks left we still need quite a few in.
I'm sure TP will get the lads better organised than we saw at Bolton but he will need the team to adapt the style and give the ball away much less or we will find it really hard to get points

I agree, sacking their manager and bringing in the fat scouse porn star being the biggest faux pas.

Leave him alone. Everyone has to have a hobby.

But surely they couldn't have carried on with the Krankie? He signed the biggest load of cack I've ever seen at one club.

He won one more game than Studley Goodfuck managed though didn't he?
And he didn't spunk million on the transfer and wages of long-haired Welsh homosexual Robbie Savage either.

I can't argue you with you about Savage, I'd have gone bare-arsed round the entire ground to collect the funds to pay him to stay away from us.
To be frank, I reckon they'd had so much knocked out of them by the time screwell arrived he was lucky to win none!

With every man and his dog writing us off after just one game! We're not even bottom of the table for fucks sake! I have 100% confidence that TP and the lads will do us proud, of course there are going to be some drubbings and humiliations along the way, we all realise that, but I am convinced that we can hold our heads up in that mini league in the bottom third of the Prem. That is what we have to concern ourselves with, the Man U's, Arsenals Liverpools and Chelseas shouldn't bother us one jot, 75% of the Premiership expect to lose against them anyway, why should we be any different? We, as supporters should take some responsibility in the coming season, lets make the Brittannia as unwelcoming, hostile and as uncomfortable as we can for opposing teams and their supporters, I implore you all to be in your best voice for Saturday afternoon, lets have total commitment and back the lads to the hilt, bawl, shout and abuse the Villa players at every opportunity, lets have a constant torrent of abuse hurled at the traveling fans, lets make the Brittannia Stadium the fortress we all claim it is, and above all KEEP THE FAITH, we will survive, we will do more than survive, WE ARE STOKE! Absolutely spot on son

I wouldn't worry about it if I was you lads, the defeat on Saturday could just be a wake up call and doesn't really count for much. You'll probably need 36 points and those need to come from the bottom half teams, anything off above the top 7 will be a bonus. End of september is probably the earliest you will get a fair indication of whats needed unless you completely flop between now and then, which I doubt.

If we've got 10 points after 10 games (as poor as that sounds) we're in line to stay up.

Amœba. I'm also going to make a bold prediction: I think we will stay up this year. I base that prediction on Pulis bringing in a few more players now, playing the market when the window opens again, and because I refuse to allow myself to think otherwise. My head tells me that we have very little chance but if I'm to continue attending, I can't do it on the premise of accepting defeat at this stage of the season. Maybe if we're absolutely doomed by February, I'll be pragmatic and accept defeat. Until then, we shall prevail. Don't take any crumbs of comfort from my predictions. If anyone had told me last Xmas that we would have been promoted automatically, I'd have thought they were off their rocker. In other words, I can be wrong. OS.
