You'd have thought that after nearly 20 years without a WBA win that they'd give us a tiny bit of credit after beating them AGAIN. Oh no, not West Bumtwitch Albion, they'd much rather make excuses about how our style and how they should've won the game yet failed because we put 47 men behind the ball and 'hoofed' the ball all game (the same 'hoofing' that the described by the national press as exciting whilst playing the shitty Baggies off the park).
Sorryboys, you're just not good enough. Never have been, never will be.

They're pathetic, it's so funny!
If they go up, I hope they play like that so we can watch teams like Man Ure walk through them as they try and play like BRAZIL!

Fugs, I got a letter in July stating that I had been knighted for services to fruit and my work towards improving our environment. My title became official on the 3rd of this month. Go me.

This 'hoofball' tag attached to us by fans/managers of other clubs and lazy journalists is becoming a bit of a running joke i feel! Of course its just sour grapes because we're hard to beat, but we may as well play on that fact to wind-up these idiots even more To celebrate our style of play I'll be investing in one of those 'Just Hoof It' T-Shirts! We did actually play some decent stuff against WBA, most importantly when it mattered in front of goal. Their passing of the ball although pretty, was totally ineffective, even their consolation goal came from a set-piece and a punt back into the 6-yard box. Let them stroke the ball around in front of their own 18-yard box all day, they can keep the ball and we can keep the 3 points. Everyones happy!

Only one team deserved to win that game & it wasnt WBA.
exactly how much money (wages/signing on fee's/transfer fee's) have WBA spent since last season compared to Stoke?
who wanted to win more?
of course we would have to play 'better football' in the prem but @ least we would compete physically & certainly would defend better than the Albion.
The WBA media have been spouting anti-Stoke garbage this season & Mowbray has chipped in as well.
deserve what you got.

It's times like these that you realise Martin Spinks isn't all that bad.....
At least he is prepared to view the game objectively, and deliver a fair representation of proceedings. The Birmingham media seemed prepared to 'twist' what actually happened in order to back up their arguement. Quite a few of the things said relating to the action are incorrect, whilst others are misleading. Unfortunately, Chris Lepkowski and co are using their positions as Journo's in order to express their bitterness, and apparent distaste for a style they utilised for good effect in the past.

fuck 'em all - it'll be very interesting to see how they all respond in may - not all of them can get promoted and at least one of these arrogant teams isnt going to make the playoff final

Most of their genuine fans have accepted they were out played, out fought and out thought on the pitch. Theres got to be a few dickheads though...
one (it seems) serious quote from their board
''Brazil will not win all games but they have billions of fans all over the world. Do you even remember who won Euro 2004? Some crappy team playing unwatchable football that never scored more than 1 goal per game. How many followers does Greece have outside Greece?
Teams like this year's Albion and Arsenal give me faith that football is still the most wonderful game in the world. Beautiful AND effective.''
In football, it's important to realise that all things are relative and your carpet football may look above average in this league, but if you tried to play like that against the likes of Liverpool, Man utd and Arsenal, you would not only be beaten but you'd be lucky to keep it to a single figure scoreline.
This division is as much about having a stomach for the fight, fighting for every ball and being able to physically match teams as it is about playing football. Untill you realise that, promotion for you guys might not be so certain as it seems.

Especially when your team are incapable of: a) Passing the ball accurately beyond the halfway line b) Playing a simple ball from the left/right hand side of the pitch to the right/left hand of the pitch without it going out.

I like this quote
"We were by far the better team and for that reason I cannot accept that defeat. If we played them next week, same team, same ref, same location, we would have won." ;D ;D
I seem to recall them saying the same thing when Ardilles was manager; when Alan Buckley was manager; when Ray Harford was manager; when Gary Megson was manager and now Tony Mowbray is manager. You would have thought even the thickest Baggie fan would have got the message by now. ;D
Oh well, it is the season of good will and we shouldn't bear a grudge against our educationally challenged friends from Smethwick.
