West Brom although they played pretty football never looked threatening, I didn't think they would score and they only did because Simmo fucked up and came and then stopped and got in no mans land!

When these whining girls get their heads out of their arses and accept they were beaten fair and square they might just see their deficiencies which are destined to see them fail again. Mowbray's pr has got these thick inbreds wrapped around his finger convenietly taking away the attention from the fact he was completely out-thought and fought. Nice position. Let them carry on and we'll all be laughing. They were beaten 4-2 by a poor coventry side. Sour-faced mowbray took nothing from that defeat and deflected criticism with tales of football puritism. West Brum - the joke's on them.

As The Sunday Times match report suggested (slightly less partisan newspaper than the Birmingham Mail, methinks) Linx, keep it to yourself, but the Sunday Times report was written by ex-stoke IT/media bloke, and allround stokie Ian Bayley ;D

Did you not see the game, Linx? WBA are the Brazil of the championship. If they got promoted with such first class premiership talent such as Kevin Phillips (he played for England, you know) they would take it by storm. EVERYONE wants to see WBA play - imagine WBA v Bolton - that would be some game.
I think we should all just hope that we don't go up and all start supporting WBA - the ultimate foootballing team.

Truly one of the most astonishing and deluded pieces of football reporting it has evever been my mispleasure to read. A bitter piece, written by a bitter man for the eyes of a bitter audience.
We've been kicking their girly arses for two decaders and not once have they shown even the slightest bit of grace about it.
What a bunch of fucking babies!
PS ~ For your contributions on this thread there's a 'Karma' coming your way LDE76 - nice work fella.

The sad part of all this is that us and Baggies fans have always got on reasonably well. This thread shows how the media can fan the flames amongst supporters. The bloke who wrote it should be accountable...but like many hacks who think they're good when they're actually junior schoolboys when it comes to the English language and composition, they bask in their own tripe.
Dave...I wasn't aware of that. Ian is a decent writer and I'm glad he's doing ok.
OS.

They've clearly learned nothing from when they were last trying to get promotion when Megson ground out 1-0's all season long. This time they have the benefit of £9 million spent on players top dollar loans like Miller, players retained from their time in the premiership and still they are only 1 measly point ahead of us. They are a joke, they ought to be walking the league, when they wake up out of their little Arsenal delusion Mowbray will get his arse kicked all the way back to Scotland.

If this had been written 2 months ago, I could sort of understand it, but we played a lot of decent football on Saturday. It was a fantastic Stoke performance where we amended our approach to suit as the game progressed. I was proud as punch to be a Stokie on Saturday and to be honest could not give a monkeys what the clearly deluded WM press say about us.
I only hope that they drop from the top two, and lose the playoff final to a badly defended long-ball or set piece.
If we don't manage to finish top two, can you imagine the joy of getting these muppets at Wembley?
