It's a truism that the third goal is the crucial one and what a third goal - you almost anticipated it as soon as Ricardo turned in the corner but still couldn't believe it when it was happening.
Excellent performances from Wilko and Shawcross and if Cort doesn't calm down he's going to get himself booked!!! Big save by Simmo as well from the "backpass"
A lot of credit to Pulis cause this is a team that is fired up and has real self belief.

having watched that game, at no point was i edgy,so it must have come across different on the radio.
plenty of nice football from the tesco boys,but no real end product, riccis 3rd goal was as good as anything i have seen at the brit in a long time.
they hoofed it more than we did,as we pointed out by shouting 'hoooof' at every opportunity ;D
may have only been 18,400 odd but the atmosphere was brilliant in the boothen.
we defended well when required and turned defence into attack with relative ease.
we are coming up on the radar lads.

Last time we won there was Boxing Day 1986. But Boxing Day 1995 we lost there 3-1 on the day of the wrong studs.
