i think the current situation regarding all these point deductions is crap the teams what went into administration had no other choice but to go in to adminstration. Had Bournemouth and Luton not gone into administration then they would of stayed up and yet now they are being punished for the second time by having more points taken off them and ruining another season for them. how are they meant to try and get better if they have points knocked of for 2 seasons in a row? Fans will become disillusoned with the club and stay away and then they will go back into administration and incurr another 10 point deduction. If the FA want to take points away from clubs in Admin then let them but only in the season they go into Admin only take points of them in the next season if they try to do a leeds and go in to administration as soon as they are relegated
You can see why shotton and Da laet didnt want sign for bournemouth now

Am I right in thinking that a club only has to avoid defeat in six matches in order not to be relegated, this season?! Errrmmm....no. Maths, son, have another think. 6 points won't be enough. But because it's Bournemouth, or Luton or Rotherham, you all feel a bit sorry, don't you? Yep, that's right, it's some club from yesteryear that has been keeping the league going for ages is about to be pissed up against the wall and replaced by MK Dons or Lewes or by wherever the money goes. We all love our little visits to Rochdale, and Hartlepool, and Southend, and everywhere else that has a real feel for proper football. But the Chairmen all fucking pissed themselves when it happened to Leeds, didn't they? Well I hope the chairman fucking enjoy it, the bastard hypocrites. Because they had the chance to stop it before it even started. As far as I'm concerned, Bournemouth, Rotherham, Luton and every other fucking club in trouble can go fuck themselves.

Big difference between Leeds and other clubs though. For example, Leeds spunked money on big transfer fees and huge wages etc. When they then went down etc and into administration, they took the attitude of " We are Leeds, this cant happen to us" Their arrogance is beyond belief at times. The attitude of, "We were in a champions league semi final you know" made them think it all wasnt fair. Bates played the system by announcing their admin after they were already relegated and Leeds duly got punished. Some of these clubs have never or spent little time in the top tier of football, apart from Luton. Leeds had it all and thought they would be ok to continue to play the big I am until the money dried up and people still wanted paying. However, the smaller clubs involved survive on much less than Leeds ever had to. This is a time to help the smaller clubs, not slam the final nails into the coffin. Leeds deserved everything they got and I for one found it hilarious that there fans moaned and moaned abut Leeds being 'massive' and it wasnt fair because they have played in the champions league blah blah blah. No one gives a fuck. You are as big as you are now, and Leeds are in League one. Long may they continue there. SGS

I like the "adopt a club" idea. Champions League qualifying clubs should have to adopt a struggling club and donate some of the proffits of the CL to the strugglers in some sort of fair and equitable way so as not to give them an unfair advantage. The situation is similar, if not worse, here in Ireland with the Eircom league falling on its arse, not that it is exactly Serie A but local teams deserve the support. Perhaps the Irish, Welsh, Scottish lower leagues and English lower leagues should have an Anglo-Celtic cup competition as a revenue generator?

The trouble is that clubs outside the league should also get a fair crack and existing league clubs "breaking the rules" just prevent that from happening. No one has a right to be in the league (especially Leeds ) and Luton seem to have broken more rules than Tucker Jenkins ever did. We have been rubbish and had small crowds, but we never went into administration, never mind broke rules when coming out - the same is true for the vast majority of other clubs - so there seems little reason to give exemptions to this gaggle. It does show the sad state football is in, but then you have to wonder how England has kept 4 professional divisions for this long, when (I don't think) anywhere else in Europe is able to do the same. Is a club with 2000 or less supporters really a professional club? Yes it's sad, especially when its great old clubs; but you can't have it both ways - The rules try to prevent clubs doing a Leceister and you can't exempt one of them just because there is a "soft spot" for them (Rotherham especially; though the memory of Pleat's bounding run of joy at Wembley, also means I feel quite sorry for Luton too) ah

Leeds should have been closed down and had to start again in FC of United's (or whatever they're called) league then they could relive past glories against their hated rivals! The could be called FC of Leeds (the FC standing for F*cking C**ts)
