Been tonight and as an Anti I have to say TP has spoken a lot of sense tonight and says that the players and management are confident and bouncing along and cannot wait to play West Brom!

Thought both TP and Mark O'Connor spoke a lot of sense and they are quietly confident about adding to the squad and at least making the play offs!

I've always been more in the pro TP camp and have to say TP really did speak lots of sense.
He came out with a couple of crackers about Liam lawrence and when he was asked about bungs! He seema very confident about our chances and I think he feels we can get automatic yet alone play offs (though he didn't directly say it) I felt the implication was there.
Also made me laugh when talking about PC and his take on the Vale!

In a nutshell he said the sentinel did an article in the pre season saying how well Vale had done signing 11 new players and that optimism was rife and season ticket sales were going well and that Stoke were not signing anyone and things looked gloomy for us!
He was making the point that running out and buting players is easy but buying the right ones with the right attitudes and personalities is NOT easy!
Vale are now stuck with useless players on long contraxts (he didn't actually say that!!) but the implication was there!
