..the fans horizons.!! Probably the last manager to do this was Macari, but the football field was a bit more even back then, with not so much money washing around such as the parachute payment system currently employed.   A win against West Brom would literally see 'The Balloon go up'>! We would then,in my honest opinion, achieve the status of serious automatic promotion candidates. I hope and pray that we do not have to endure this ridiculous play-off route which turns all of a clubs efforts throughout the season into a complete bloody farce.! SO ....Show them who's boss Fuller....3-2 To the mighty Potters.!! |

Much of how we are perceived going into the new year depends how we do on Saturday. We have a had a very good first half of the season and a win on Saturday will cement in peoples heads the notion of us being genuine contenders. One fear is that we hit a slump in the new year that severely dents our chances.
Against WBA an unsoiled sheet will smell nice.

I remember playing the Baggies under Lou. A night game, 22k there 2-1 win to the potters and we ended up top of the league at the final whistle. If we had got 3 points against Watford it could of been the same kind of day on saturday, I guess i'll just have to make do with 2nd spot....... for now.

Nah nothing like this sidders. I don't remember the Excuse and Star making a song and dance like they did in October. Those years in the Premiership have given them delusions of grandeur.

I find the more they whine and complain the sweeter the win will taste. It's funnier when you remmeber how Megson played to get them into that promised land, doubt they were crying over that, sour grapes, blind one eyed baggieitus.
