Just seen this on sky sports, an email in your questions to Chris Kamara.
Hi Chris, The season is now half way through and certain teams are punching above their weight - Bristol City and one of your old clubs Stoke City. As a Stoke season ticket holder and life long fan, I have seen some real poor Stoke sides (none that you played in of course). Nowadays Tony Pulis has built a really hard working unit with some skill. The chairman, Peter Coates, has returned to the club, he has purchased the ground and training facilities along with the academy and Stoke have a few million in the bank to strengthen the team. Things are looking up! What do you think of Stoke's chances of promotion, after all this is a very tight league, probably the best for overall entertainment in the country as every team can beat each other and no one is running away with it. As an ex-Stoke manager whom would you add to the squad to get to the promise land? Mark Cartlidge, Blackburn
KAMMY SAYS: It doesn't matter who I'd add to the squad Mark, it's all about Tony Pulis. Tony has instilled his own system in the team - they have made themselves very difficult to beat - they were never the most exciting team to watch but they're very effective. And that's the way Tony likes it. Stoke are in great shape - the best they've been since Tony has been at the Britannia Stadium. Now its up to the chairman, Peter Coates to back him and give them every chance of at least getting into the play-offs. They've been too long out of the big league and it would be nice to see them back in there. This is their best chance really and Tony will be hoping that his team can kick-on from a great first half of the season. And I can't see why they can't do that as they're very strong and difficult to break down.
