For £100,000 a week they could shout what the fuck they liked
"Oi Dixie, you're fucking wank you dickhead"
"Yep, but you should see the size of my mum's house"
Sol's upset because he's a bummer and he doesn't like people knowing.

These football players are right pussies.
The government (quite rightly) made racist chanting a criminal offence years ago.
Players getting stick is part of the game, if the players don't like it - They should change careers. There are plenty warehouse jobs out there. No abuse from the crowd where I work. Unfortunatly no £50,000 a week pay-packet either.

Now i heard Will Young was bumming West ham's Matthew Upson.
Admittedly, this information came from a Villa mate when Upson was at Blues but it was a big rumour in Birmingham for a while.
I reckon Ashley Cole take sit up the shitter as well. There was WAY too much protesting about that silhouette if you ask me.

It appears Will Young is the male equivalent of Gemma Atkinson.
He's obviously the "bum de jour" for the modern Professional Footballer/Gaylord.

Im not sure about the sexual orientation of these players but all i know is the last thing we need is the government sticking there nose in more than they already are, this country is going down the pan, the government are already to involved in peoples lives as it is, the last thing we need is idiots like Campbell begging them to get more involved in things like this, it's not even a big issue, if he can't face 90 minutes of chants every other week then he should find another profession because it's part and parcel of the game.

I'd like to continue the cheerfully libellous nature of this thread by adding the Will Young rumour I've heard, namely that he's boffing Portsmouth's Matthew "Hello Sailor" Taylor.

Depending on which end he plays then, Young must have the sorest Bell-End/Arsehole this side of the Pink Flamingo.

Fucking hell, Will Young gets about a bit doesn't he? Seems like when he's not recording he's off out rogering half of the Premiership.
I'd heard that he'd had a bit of Gay o'Shea but if he's got his end away with any of the others then fair play to him, the big gay whore.

I hear the Officials will be next. They're going to ask the Government to intervene and stop the verbal abuse they get from the players, each and every time they make a decision.
Mind you, the biggest reporters of abuse nowadays are probably the fans, as soon as someone gives them a bit back.
Haven't got a Will Young rumour, sorry ;D

So we'd have (nearly) stopped racism in football without a bit of intervention, is that right?? Don't think so. We'd still have had knuckle-draggers throwing bananas. Why's this any different?

Sal,
There's a big difference between racist abuse and booing a player who's just dived or committed a horror tackle. If Sol Campbell had his way, what happens to freedom of speech?

Sal,
I think there's a broader point than that. It seems that the modern footballer is so disconnected from the supporters who pay their wages that a leading player is now requesting players don't get abused. The game is driven by passion and whilst i agree whole-heartedly that a line must be drawn in terms of colour/sexual preference etc, i see no reason to remove my right to tell a player he's wank.
It's a slippery slope from there.

Agree with what Dixie says. It does piss me off though how fans complain when they get a bit of stick back-if You dish it out take it! The Everton cuntrags are the worst for that with Barton and Gerrard. They continuly barrack them they do something back in Bartons case a moonie and they go to the Police-pathetic!

You're on the slipperly slope mate, 'please government run our lives for us', booing and harmless chants should not lead to government intervention, ... you want to ban swearing at football games next ? then what ? people who look threatening to be stopped at the turn-styles ? where does it end, do we need the government to step in to sort EVERYTHING out in our lives ? are we no longer capable of doing anything for ourselves anymore ? Im sick of this nanny state and it's only going to get worse when you have idiots like Campbell begging for government intervention, they should stay out of people lives, lets the clubs deal with it if they feel it's bad enough to warrant something be done.

Bayern,
I have found that Scousers in particular are quick to gob off on a variety of subjects, yet give them some back and they are quick to complain.
The reason people think that they are a thieving, carjacking, idiotic, racist, shanty-town dwelling bunch of wankstains is because, in actual fact, they are just that. And no amount of Jimmy McGovern "dramas" produced to show the contrary will change that.

He came out with this little gem during his rant....
'I am an international player who has given his whole career to club and country. I think I deserve more than this. '
Thanks for everything Sol.
He gave up a promising career in *whatever* to earn millions playing football. Something he obviously didn't really want to do but he dug down deep and kept playing regardless of the continuous pain and suffering endured by todays professional footballer.
It must have been so hard for him.

Sol Cambell's comments are all part of this culture of 'sanitising' football.
Hopefully, his comments will be treated with the contempt they deserve. Unless Cambell wants to take a 99% pay cut and join the rest of the working world then he should shut up.

In fairness to the supporters though Sal, he is a Gaylord*.
It's not so much unconditional abuse, more a statement of fact. Sol's problem is that he is SO sensitive, the big gay bear*.
