Only twice but both times he has been the outstanding player on the pitch. He is small, quick and direct. He's not lightweight either like some people say. He is a small bloke but rides the tackle well and the ball never leaves his foot. His pace is something else and I think he is a good player to have on the bench who can beat defenders with ease. All in all a good player who should for my liking get more of a chance.

Feck me is everybody having a period. Calm down, I was simply pointing out that he may be fit on Satdee.
I think everybody needs to take some nice long breaths, and hold it until your face turns blue, and then hold it some more.
He was a good player for Stoke, no I wasn't that bothered when he left, however he certainly isn't the sort of ex player I would ever hold a grudge for. ie, Kav or the judus that was Biggins!!

Carl deserved a £10k wage if Fuller is reportedly going to be on more than that. We all know why he went, he was forced out of the club by Pulis.
Top player, and a top bloke, he should (and will) get a massive cheer on Saturday. Let's just hope we can continue to extend our voodoo curse over the Baggies.

Senty:-
"Former Stoke favourite Carl Hoefkens faces a race against time to prove his fitness for Saturday's return to the Britannia Stadium with West Bromwich Albion.
Hoefkens has missed Albion's last two fixtures with a slight hamstring strain, but returned to training last Friday to increase his chances of lining up against the club he left in August after a popular two-year stay. "

Did the long-running subtext of last season completely pass everyone by?
It was clear his style of football wasn't what Pulis was looking for, you could see he became a shadow of the player that became fans' player of the year the season before. And then of course there were the (all too transparent) early-season attempts to drop him from the team because of 'international fatigue' and due to his 'kiddies'.
Love Pulis or hate him, we can all recognise Pulis only likes to play his own men - unfortunately Carl had to go.

Can you blame Hoefkens for wanting to go? He was first dropped for no reason and then they tried to sell him in January.
I'm happy with the manager for the most part but the way he handled Hoefkens was abysmal.
