derby i feel, he surely would've signed by now, if he was staying at stoke it would've been announced on Monday or yesterday after t.p gave fergie a call on Monday
i fear the worst, lets just enjoy the last few games with him i say, more media coverage for stephen wright at the present.
still time , but the more it drags on the more chance we have of losing him.

He can't sign anything until January! When the original deal is up I think. It's not like one of your own players, a contract is a contract. Even if TP got the thumbs up from Fergie he'd be mad to say "Alex says it's a done deal" If Alex has agrred to TP's request it just means we'll be in the running come January doesn't it???

Lets face it, sorting Shawcross's short term future is unlikely to be top of Fergies 'to do' list is it? It'l get sorted in due course and if he goes to a premier league side (Derby - premier league side - snigger) then so be it..... hes done well for us and will leave with my best wishes. However, i hope to God he stays!!!

Spoke to Ryan yesterday at the Donna Louise Trust by asking if anything had being decided on whether or not he was staying.
Ryan stated that he will know next week but as far as he was concerned he was staying.

Me too.
Seemed a real genuine lad in the sense of making less unfortunate "health wise" children feel on top of the world.
As soon as he set eyes upon a lad in a wheelchair that was wearing a Stoke top he turned to Lawrence and whispered "a Stokie" and immediately went over to him with Liam and made a fuss of him.
Seemed really happy and he was adamant that if it's left up to him to decide then he was staying put.

Ryan and his agent were at the club yesterday. Ryan said he "wants to stay but i'd better ask his agent" His agent just said,"he's doing his best for us" and "We'll see".

I think Fergie may have some other things on his mind-like someone he feels is a better prosepect being up on a charge of rape!

We have no idea where he's going to go- January will reveal all- until then no point in speculating how the lad feels etc- what his favourite episode of Star Trek is etc because we don't bloody know-simple as

Unless Derby pay him a lot more money, I think he would rather stop here. Why would you want to walk into a relegation club with all heads dropped when you are in a team that's playing well?

he'd be stupid to go to derby, a team with no confidence, losing every game and going to get relegated, he'd get a lot more by helping get stoke promoted

Maybe if he was coming to the end of his career he would have gone there to earn a bit more money, but well done to the young lad. He obviously wants to play football and he wants to learn, so fair play for staying here where he is first choice and playing very well!
