Don't know if any of you have heard of this extremely funny tale at Turf Moor. There is a photoshop thread on the Clarets Mad website which is one of the funniest I've ever seen on a football MB. Here is the tale:ENGLISH soccer club Burnley FC had to call air traffic control after its promotional blimp - proudly displaying the club's crest - was cut free during its maiden flight. The blimp had only been flying for 90 minutes when a vandal scaled a wall, climbed onto the container on which it was attached and cut the cord. The incident was not caught on CCTV cameras which sweep the park. Experts say the blimp could have travelled as far as Scotland. "It certainly caught someone's eye quickly as it was only airborne for an hour and a half before somebody cut it loose,” said Burnley FC Facilities Manager Doug Metcalfe. "It was seen flying eastwards and we would really appreciate its safe return if at all possible as blimps do not come cheap."
