After our draw there a few months ago.
They were basically moaning their arses off because we didn't buckle and let them play. There was quite a slanging match on here after the game and it made me hate West Brom!
The Express and Star newspaper report didn't help either...I think it said something along the lines of we were like the ugly sister at the party (or something like that!?).
I'd love us to ram those taunts down their throats on Saturday. We took Bryan Robson's smug look off his face when he said we were like Wimbledon.
The Blackpool reports are a refreshing change from what we're used to...and I'm pretty sure TP won't need to wind the players up next week.
We're doing brilliantly and the work rate is as good as I've known from ANY team. We can mix the play up too.
Well done Stoke...and GO ON STOKE!
Hope the lads had a great night out last night following a great win.

mama - how many times have we shown an ability to mix it up this season? I'm not having a pop by the way. I can remember a couple of games, where for one half we have really passed it for short periods (QPR and Norwich spring to mind), but generally we've hammered away at the same tactic of hitting mama from a distance, and seeing what we can pick up, regardless of how well it's been working.

Well, we're big, strong, with Fuller we're quick on the break.
I've only seen the home games this season, but:
Charlton...a great passing winning goal. Wolves...a competitive game. Barnsley...rubbish. Plymouth...lucky. Colchester...should have won 3 or 4-1. Sheff Wed...an entertaining game despite defeat. Coventry...caught out on the break after searching for an equaliser. Sheffield United...bombarded them but couldn't score. QPR...excellent first half, hard working second. Norwich...hard working first half, excellent second. Watford...some good passing moves, should have won 1-0.
From that bunch (enough games to make a judgement), I'd say we've mixed it up.
Some really good (QPR) to some good (Charlton) to some ok (Wolves). I've enjoyed more games than not this season.

"Coventry...caught out on the break after searching for an equaliser."
Don't forget Coventry were assisted by possibly the most incompetent referee ever.

WBA were just blarters. They came over as a pack of jumped up kids.
Haven't they ever been tackled before?

Thing is its not as if they are bloody Real Madrid is it? With all their snotty purity you'd expect them to be across between Holland 74 and Brazil 70.
AS it is they are WBA 2007....a decent second tier of English football sort of side. No more or less than that.
