How can a guy who couldnt even get into the side of a team in the bottom 3 be playing so well at stoke?
Is this testament to TP's man management style or jus tthe effect of playing in a team with confidence up near the top of the table.
Either way Pugh was a great spot by TP and looks like a class player for years to come.

TP has a great nack of getting the best out of any player and he is a really good player. Looks like the future will be bright with a player or two in jan.
Come on city!!

Sorry to piss on your Pulis fire, but the reason Pugh wasn't in the Preston XI was because he didn't get on with Simpson.

Of course Ilford,
Diego Forlan, Massimo Taibi and Juan Sebastian Veron are all names which are banned from Old Trafford too.

To be honest I thought Ilford was hard done too, but I have to agree it's a little boring hearing the same record Ilford.

Despite expressing concerns early on, I'm quite impressed with him. A tidy, unspectacular player who to me looks the model of consistency.

I reckon he's getting better every game, it's great to see him finding his feet here. Great piece of spotting by TP, whether it was bad blood with PNE or losing his way. And the team spirit here really seems to be giving him confidence, that is so encouraging for the future.

Having seen him play (pretty poorly) in poor to average teams like Leeds and PNE, I was pretty shocked when TP brought him in and TBH, I didn't think he'd add anything at all except one more to chose from, to what we've already got.
Have been 'over the moon' at his form since he arrived though - suppose that's what make Pulis a manager and not me!

Ilford
you do have a slight point
but look at all the good players he's brought in over the years, far outweighs the poorer purchases
