How should steak be cooked? Obviously, the answer is 'Well done', like real men have it, and all you big women who have it cooked less should take up confetti design or something.

I'm vegetarian so I voted for "very rare" in the absence of "never." As a point of order, surely a bloody rare steak is more manly than a well-done one?

Medium well, but thats here in Spain. In the UK that would be ordered raw! Steaks should be pink all the way through that is to get the best flavour. Having it burnt to a crisp is a bit silly as you may as well save a tenner and just order a burger!

Then you're going to get food poisoning. Unlike most meat, beef can be eaten almost raw. This makes it very quick to cook and safe(ish) to cook when slightly pissed. If very pissed leave the kitchen and get a takeaway.

So men eat steak cooked until all it's flavour has been removed?????
Naaaaaa, medium rare/rare for me a bit of blood on the plate . . . for the wife rare/blue she does like her meat cooked to a bare minimum!
A sirloin or T-bone cook well done is just a waste of meat!

As a veggie, there's no "not at all" option, so can't vote.
Will get revenge with a "how do you like your lentils cooked?" poll. ;D ;D
