Think this is a really bad idea. The thought of going out in Blackpool after will be on the mins os some players today. Very suprised TP sanctioned this. A game where we should get all 3 points couls turn into a debarcle and the blame pointed at the 'xmas party ' after the game. Should only let them do it if we win !!! Banana skin waiting to happen.

It was on P&G last night, Joe.
Pulis said that I didn't mind as long as they bring no trouble back to the club's door.

What George said. If we lose they should be stopped from it.

It will be playing on the minds of the local teenagers when they see Russel and Liam polishing their camera equipment.

It is 7 days to the West Brom game - that is about the longest gap between games between late November and the cup game in January. Can't think of a better time to go out on the piss. Makes more sense than going out on the piss in the middle of a week's training.

Why do they have to go out on the piss at all?

They don't get to have much of a Christmas week with playing Boxing Day and New Year's day so I'd have thought most clubs allowed their players a night for a Christmas meal/do sometime in December.

There human beings just like you and me, just because they play football does not mean they are not entitled to a night out at christmas

They're actually paid quite a lot of money NOT to go 'on the piss', or should be during the season. Plenty of time for all that after promotion in May!

Fuck me, is this a topic worth debating? Give me strength.
Yes I'm sure the prospect of a night out in Blackpool will play on the player's minds so much they just won't be able to kick a ball straight.
"Lawro that was your ball!" - "Sorry lads, I can't stop thinking about Yates' Wine Lodge on the promenade."

The Hof was a regular in Harleys last year...
Couple of years back maybe 3, mid season I saw 8 of them in Hanley (Liquid)
Brammer, Clarke, Taggart, Thomas, Halls, Doobs and 2 others who I forget + James O'Connor. All pissed out of their heads. They deserve a night out or 2.

At least they all like eachother enough to go out together, shows we have a close knit bunch of lads.
Not to bothered with them being out on the lash in blackpool as long as they don't give the club a bad name

Lets hope that as well as going to get pissed together they like each other enough to get back into this game.

I hope the lads have a great night out tonight. They deserve it. But once the hangovers have gone it is time to get the baggies in our sights and make sure it is a happy christmas for all us Stokies.

Great piece of management by allowing players to go out on the pi555555 because afterall i'm sure Pulis trusts them 100%. Unfortunately though there is also a fair share of idiots out there who choose to cause their fair share of trouble.
At the end of the day not only are they footballers but they're also human beings though must never forget that they're always in the public eye.

FFS put it into perspective.they are having their Xmas Dinner and its Fancy Dress so they will not be trouping around Blackpool. They deserve a pint or two for the work that have put in lately. Enjoy lads.

Fair play to the lads they deserve a good party, and who's to say they will be "on the piss"? they might just have a few beers and a good meal, and if they get pissed along the way then so be it, they're all young lads and need to let off some steam

Thomas the tank needed to let off steam. He ended up hitched up to Annie and Clarabel.
