No offence Gaz but think grown men boo-ing ex players is utterly moronic- having to ask others if you should boo them or not is worrying. Why bother about him?????- doesn't play for us anymore Do you honestly think a few individuals booing him is going to bother him?????? I remember one individual asking should we boo Ben Foster previously- am I missing something

To me, like many others, it's more a case of "boo-hoo" tbh.
Wright is a clear second best & we do miss the Hoef.
(Obviously, we get enough hoof as it is.)

I liked Hoof myself, and think he showed a lot of bollocks when he stood up to TP.I would personally be embarrassed if he is booed.

'and think he showed a lot of bollocks when he stood up to TP'
You mean- let me leave because West Brom are offering me huge money.
Can't blame him going for the money- I'm sure he won't be bothered by a few booing him

He'll get a massive cheer from me!
Hoefkens never wanted to leave Stoke, he was forced out by Pulis. It was made clear all along that Pulis had no interest in keeping him at the club, what with all the drivel about 'kiddies' and international fatigue.
The removal of Hoefkens is just another example of Pulis' ignorance of real footballing talent, and paranoia of subversives signed by previous management.

Hoefkens aint Commons - dont think he would go into his shell if we boo him.
clap before the game, boo if he fouls one of our players or kicks the ball out or something. otherwise whats the point?

No boo's from me. He deserves a good clap coming onto the pitch and as long as he does nothing silly he will get a good clap if he gets subbed during the game. We will still bet them even with Hoof's playing.

Will aplaud him before kick off, then will cheer Stoke to hopefully three points. No point in booing.

He'll get applause from me as well. My favourite player from the past few seasons not just for his performances but for his attitude and passion. Remember listening to his interview a week after he'd joined the Baggies where he dropped a very clear hint that he'd love to come back to us one day. There was no need for him to say it at that point and I reckon he really meant it.

no boo but no cheer either, he chose the baggies who are not my favourite team. i like to save my vitriol for real tossers like commons and kavanagh

never EVER boo your own team, and never boo players who did their bit for the club and left for the same reasons you or I would have.
simple really !

Why on earth boo Carl,he was a very committed player for Stoke. He was elbowed out,he did not really want to go.
